I am really pleased with this desk. Some important tips for putting it together: One of the first directions is Do not tighten the screws/bolts until it is completed. This is important, especially when putting on the top pieces. This will help you make it level and make the holes line up. Also when you think it would be convenient to put the keyboard tray on the top piece before you attach it to the legs, even though the directions say not to, Dont do it.
I ended up calling their support number because three or four metal brackets on the Keyboard tray brackets were bent. They were VERY nice and helpful. They offered to send me a replacement unit and free return shipping for my unit. But I didnt want to have to deal with shipping the one I had back. I ended up being able to straighten out the bent metal pieces. Even after all that, I am really please with my purchase.
This desk was almost exactly what I needed. If it had a second keyboard drawer, it wouldve been perfect. Assembly was a breeze, and it seems quite sturdy. The keyboard drawer, however, is AWFUL. The first issue with the keyboard drawer was that it sits too close to the structural support for the desktop, so every time I pushed my keyboard in, it would be hitting the spacebar and holding it down. My solution was to go to the hardware store and get longer bolts and washers to lower the drawer so it wouldnt hit my keyboard anymore.
Today, however, the keyboard drawer just slid right out of the slides and into my lap. Im not sure if I can fix it or not, but Ive been using it for like 4 days, I shouldnt NEED to fix it.
Overall, its a great desk, but the keyboard drawer is garbage. (I stole the keyboard drawer from my old computer desk to act as the second one that I needed. Its like 10-years-old and still works amazingly.
