This item is very simple to assemble, there are no written instructions, only photos. This is probably so that if you choose to have a monkey do the assembly, they wont be confused. Several people complain about the assembly process, I dont understand. If you do not tighten the screws until the end as it suggest, its no problem. If you are not strong, have another person help you with this. Very nice chair, comfortable and looks fantastic. This one was perfect
We bought these for our business as waiting room chairs. Everyone comments on how comfortable they are. They were a little tricky to put together but after figuring them out they are a well built chair. Very sturdy and durable
One of the chairs we ordered broke and we were a little past the return policy and they sent us a new chair and the UPS tag to return the broken one. We didnt have to pay any out of pocket costs. They are awesome! truly easy to install
Ordered 2 of these for guest seating. For the price they are great product and I would buy again. The main reason Im only giving 4 stars is the first one was a real pain to put together. The instructions were useless. Took me about 45 min to get the first chair together and did the 2nd in about 20 minutes. I like the sturdiness and comfort of this product.
We bought 6 of these black faux leather chairs that require assembly (30 min each by one handy guy). The chair is sturdy, tested at 260lbs without any signs of compromise. They do easily show finger prints but they also wipe down easily. Great fit for our medical waiting area though we will complement with other larger seating options for our larger clients. Product was just as descriproduct
UPDATE 9/12/18:
Well, its been about 7 years and theyve held up quite well considering. The leather armrests are now showing quite a bit of wear. I guess thats to be expected when you have a lot of patients getting in and out of these chairs. I had 4 originally and now will have to replace 2 of them. So for a benjamin over 7 years, I guess you could say I got my moneys worth.

Bought 4 of these for use in a dental office. The color is a matte black (not glossy) and not chocolate as it looks in the picture. That wasnt an issue for us though. The seat is soft and feels solid as well as the seat back. The other chairs we bought had a harder back but the upholstery was leather (and glossy). Well made. Good price.
Having read ther eviews about the color of the chair I still took a chance and ordered the chair and hoped that it would be more of a chocolate color than black, these chairs are black with mahogony legs/ dont be convinced otherwise! However also be aware that if you can get beyond the color these chairs are superb/ they are truly comfortbale chairs and they look rich and expensive. I would recommend these chairs, I changed by entire color scheme for these chairs rather than returning them! Its so pretty
This chair looks very classy / makes a great impression! I bought two for my office. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because two of the screws wouldnt go in. (I probably lack the strength to bring the parts together close enough to screw the back onto the chair. So its a minor quibble. If I had more arm strength, it would be 5 stars.) The chair holds together well even without those two screws going in. The color is black (as the previous reviewer mentioned, in the photo it looks espresso, but out of the box it looks black. Its vinyl, not leather, which may account for the photo looking an espresso color.) I needed classy/looking chairs that would be easy to clean, in case customers came in wearing dirty clothes, or brought pets into the office. Thats why I cant use fabric chairs, as comfortable as they are. But these vinyl classy/looking chairs are perfect. Cute and good quality
