Ill start off by saying that we came here to purchase this frame after months of waiting for another frame to become available (shipping issues). Ill say that the frame is much more lightweight than I was expecting, but the pieces seem sturdy. Maybe not solid wood sturdy...but honestly who makes furniture like that anymore (which sucks). I build this on my own and did not need a second person to help for any of the steps.. These instructions were pretty easy to follow and well marked. My only note would be to those building this frame in a small room (like I did). When it comes to building to trundle, note that youre building it from back to front so position yourself so that you dont have to then flip it once its build like I did. My other note would be for those with hardwood floors. The trundle bed doesnt have a stopper so it moves around and it doesnt stay flush with the face of of frame.. Im thinking of putting some sort of stopper between the end if the trundle and the wall so that its always flush with the frame and it looks like the pictures. Other than that, well see how it holds up with my crazy child.
Comes in four heavy boxes. Each box is a separate piece. Start with any of the three smaller boxes and the last one is the large one. Assemble on a carpeted area and DO NOT put the three main pieces together to finish the base until it’s in where you want it. Sturdy. Well constructed. Great piece.
This is a nice frame where almost everything lines up well. It looks nice and functions well. However it is a bit time consuming to assemble for the novice. I recommend getting a bit for your drill that matches the Allen wrench size for assembly as it will make life much easier. Also as it comes in multiple boxes sometimes as with this one they do not all arrive at once.

Love this bedframe it’s very sturdy real wood totally awesome! My husband and I both are on the heavy side and I don’t feel any movement of this bedframe whatsoever. We put it together one day at a time the first day we did the foot part and one side the next day we did the one side and then put them all together and put the slats and sides on. That helps make it not so hard if you do it in two days the foot and this one side took 3 to 3 1/2 hours for my husband to put together. As far as the directions they were very thorough there are two photos throughout the whole instructions that is a little backwards so set your pieces up look at them really good look at the pictures in the instructions and pay real close attention and you will do just fine. There is absolutely no word directions it’s all photos.
We left the big door off on the side of the bed so our little Maltese could have a little sleeping area and she loves it.
It took me about 4 hours to put together solo. But it had been the easiest piece of furniture I have ever assembled. Its complicated, but for the directions and everything for perfectly (which was so nice!). Love the bed, storage is great and it looks really nice.
Perfect for us. We wanted storage. It is very solid and well made. Not cheap box store quality. The installation is insane. It was a full days work and I am fairly handy. Just a lot of pieces to put together and I did not want to make a mistake. Did not come with headboard so I made one. Make sure you put in the headboard first because there is no way u can move this bed once installed.
Love all the storage. It takes a little while to put together (I did it alone, 51 yr old female) but its a very sturdy bed and will be for years to come.
Very sturdy and good quality. It took about a week of evenings for me to put together, but I was on my own after working all day—a partner would have sped up the process. The two sides are identical, so the second one took less time. I used a ratcheting screwdriver, otherwise I dont think I could have tightened everything properly. The drawers and cabinets all work smoothly. Mattress fits perfectly.
The directions are horrible. Just poorly illustrated pictures, little to no words. The materials are not very sturdy and the drawers continue to break. Most of my furniture is from IKEA so putting furniture together is nothing new in our home. I highly recommend to not get this and save your time and money.
