I love this accent cabinet! I took my time putting together. I put all the pieces in order, then did all the screws and dowels, let the glue dry then assembled. It was quite easy, probably took 1.5 hrs to do. I am using it to put my daughters coloring books and pencils, markers, crayons. The door slides nice, I use the other side for decor items. This cabinet is very sturdy. Great quality! I know I will have for a very long time. I love the color! It matches my TV/Fireplace stand perfectly, which is what i was hoping. I recommend, and would purchase for a family member. But it still works great.
I am using this as a coffee station. I love it to say the least. It wasnt too bad to put together, the instructions were very clear. The end product seems very sturdy and overall looks aming. Could be little cheaper.
I am very pleased with this purchase and so glad I got it. First the packaging was excellent and procreated they item well. This is manufactured wood but the overall quality of the boards is good. The screw holes were aligned well and I did not have to force any of the nails or bolts to get them in. All the pieces lined up well and building this cabinet was pretty easy. I completed this project on my own and it took me 2 hours to finish. You have to flip the entire chest maybe 2/3 times so a second person would be helpful for that. Otherwise its easy enough to do on your own.
The finished product is great and the unit is sturdy. The only complaint I have is that the sliding door can easily come off its hinges. My 4 year old and husband have both popped it off its track when sliding the door open. The track guide does adjust so I have adjusted it so that it fits further into the grove. Hopefully this helps avoid issues with use and an heavy hand. Either way be gentle with the door. I think the sliding door seems to be the weakest/thinned piece in the entire set, which is unfortunate since its kind of a major feature of the design.
Overall I love the cabinet and it helps to complete the style theme of my home. I definitely would recommend. Buy It.
The only thing I disliked is that the sliding door had some holes that were supposed to be on the back toward the front so ultimately I had to create my own holes so they should be on the correct side. Worked for my use.
Beautiful Cabinet. Came on time! Only issue I did notice is that it seems to scratch pretty easily. Mine came with a few scratches but nothing i cant live with.
