Putting together this bed almost gave me a disease. Every screw is the dumbest hardest thing to screw in. It requires drill strength but they give you an **alan wrench** ️️️ My hands hurt, I sobbed, looks great but not sure if it was worth the pain.
Out of the box, it was obvious this bed frame was made with high quality materials and would be sturdy support for the bed. It was also obvious that the one I received had been returned by someone else. I think I know why it was returned. Three of the corners slid together relatively easily. One corner did not fit. I used a vise to squeeze the metal a bit, then a piece of wood and a hammer to pound it together. Obviously, that should not be necessary. Now that Im using the bed frame, I love it, but the company needs to be careful with dimensions and double check the manufacturing.
Exactly what we ordered, came in decent time, assembly was easy, took maybe an hour or two with two people, and we’ve been using it for about 6 months with no complaints.
Lots of storage, I even used storage cubbies underneath. The slats are very thick, so we didn’t need a box. Very squeaky during intimacy tho…. Just fyi lol.
The bed is great. I assembled it alone while recovering from COVID and it didn’t kill me, so assembly wasn’t tough. My husband and I can’t, for the life of us, figure out what the block of wood thing is that came with the bed.
The bed is a solid, study and quality piece of furniture when assembled. I was dreading the assembly part but with the exception of one little missing instruction that caused me to have to unscrew and flip a piece around it was very easy. It works well and looks amazing with the other mid century pieces in my bedroom. I am very happy with my purchase.
