Pros: Easy assemble. true. I liked the color too. Sturdier than expected.
Cons: The holes on the legs for the screws to go into were too small. I couldnt attach the shelf to the legs. (I had no problem with the top panel though)
When I went to assemble this table, it was the second table that I was to put together this night. The first table that I assembled was not the same brand as this table, but matches it quite nicely. The first table was very easy to assemble, but I found that the construction materials seemed cheap.
So when I opened the box for this table, the Dorel Home Products tall end table, I noticed that the quality of the building materials was a bit nicer. The wood felt more like real wood, the long bolts that tie the legs to the top looked like they were machined better, and the tool included seemed to be of a higher quality.
Unfortunately for me, one of the pre/drilled holes for the pins that lock into the bottom shelf, was off location. What this caused to do was to put upward pressure on the wood from the pin especially when you tried to lock in the pin using the mechanism that so many build/it/yourself home furniture includes and uses for its customers to put the pieces together. So when I went to turn the blocking piece onto the pin, the corner busted off exposing the drilled hole in the side of the shelf that pin goes through. Splitting it in half.
With the pin the leg, I laid the pin in the, what was now a trough in the side of the shelf, it was easy to see what the problem was. The hole in the leg where the pin is to be screwed into, was off location and for me to drill a hole in the leg where it SHOULD have been wouldve just made the existing hole much larger because the drilled hole wouldve had to have been very close to the existing hole.
I tried to glue the corner back on and try again, but being very careful not to force it, still made the fracture reappear. So Im just not bothering with the pin locking mechanism and just gluing the whole corner together. See my progress to that point here:

So while this table may be a good value for the money and easy to assemble, and many reviewers here have attested to that, I, unfortunately had a bad experience with it. Buy at your own risk.
Its a fantastic accent table for anyone looking for something to throw the mail on, or keys, and maybe a bag. Its not very sturdy, and cant handle weight. No leaning on it, no putting anything near 20 pounds on it. Very easy to assemble.
You get what you pay for. In this case a cheap side table. I needed something to put my coffee on so my little toddler wouldnt grab it. I only planned on this lasting 3/4 years anyhow. It does look nice but you can feel that its cheaply made. Its shaky too, even though everything is screwed in tight. Im just hoping my toddler doesnt try to shake the crap outta it. Also the dimensions provided for this product IS accurate! I read a review where the reviewer stated that this product is 28 wide, 12 deep, and 28 tall. I bought this table based on those dimensions and was disappointed. Length is 12, width only 15.9, and height 29.
Nice looking, but this table is so cheap.two legs the cam shafts wouldnt lock so its extremely wobbly. Looks great and I only use it for tv remotes and alarm clock.great for decoration only.
Update / 2/20/2014:
These are both still in use as speaker stands and they may have been moved or handled a total of 3 or 4 times since I assembled them. They could be from a bad factory batch, but they are rapidly changing in both fit and finish since they were put into use. The wood is actually Rubberwood and the tops are constructed of several joined boards. Both tables are now showing a distinct warping where each of these top boards is beginning to cup along its entire length. i.e., too much moisture from improper drying, or green wood being used. In some areas the finish is also separating from the wooden top itself and looking like blotches of spilled milk thats become trapped underneath.
These were incredibly cheap to buy and I wasnt expecting them to be heirloom quality tables, but I was expecting something more than 2 months. Neither one requires a replacement just yet and I might be able to replace the tops with something suitable / assuming the rest of the wood holds up / but I wont be buying more or recommending them to anyone else.
I ordered a pair, and both arrived without any cosmetic issues or broken pieces / although the boxes looked a bit rough. They were both a bit darker than the color shown, like more of a darkened reddish mahogany than a medium coffee. These are indeed solid wood, but definitely not an american/type hardwood and lighter in weight than I would have guessed for their size. The finish is pretty good, but who knows how theyll look or hold up over time.
The biggest issue in my case was the poor choice for some of the included and ill/fitting assembly hardware. The holes for all of the circular lock pieces used on the lower shelf were considerably bigger than the hardware they held, plus those pieces were poorly made molded pot metal and I had almost all of them deform when tightening and never really locked anything in place / and / 1 busted in half with only the moderate pressure I used on all of them. Id suggest you only use non/powered screwdrivers to assemble these, or risk everything crumbling or breaking.
The good news is that the screws holding the legs to the top almost lock the lower shelf in place, despite the flaky hold from the other problem pieces. Not a real issue for me, but they arent terribly steady when assembled and you place any kind of heavy weighted stuff on them. I use them as stands for 16lb front surround speakers, so they wont move or be used daily as regular tables. Great for my use and at the price offered, but not for high traffic areas, holding table lamps or breakable things like big vases.

wooden table
This tables wood is soft, the lower shelf cracked while putting the leg into it. The hole was not aligned properly. Inexpensive, but not worth it.
I Didnt Get A Good One

Looks pretty, but weak

Good enough for now!

Quality not good
baseplate is hard to be fixed with the supplied screw. The screw quality is bad, one is broken while installation.
Cheaply made!

Looks good, but be prepared for surprises

It just didnt t look right out of packaging. Looked cheap. Returned. I felt the table was going to fall apart.
It was was very cheap indeed. Didnt look right when we took out of packaging. I felt like the table was going to fall apart.
cant even up it together
the legs the table came with dont fit. could not even put the table together. seems like a packaging error.
