I bought this because I needed to organize my gaming room and also needed something tall to put my PC up on. Held the weight of my PC as well as have the functionality of a filing cabinet in the bottom row. I don’t really mind that the bottom row doesn’t close flush but that’s just me.
The people complaining about the quality forget what they paid for it. It’s not supposed to be a high end piece of furniture! If you want high end furniture you will have to pay 4 times the amount you paid for this. This thing is your typical unassembled piece. Not great quality but not terrible either.
Good product. Well engineered and all wood parts finished nicely, and are accurately pre-drilled for perfect fit. No missing hardware. Remember, though, what size folders you intend to store in the large file drawer before you assemble it. I didn’t, and had to disassemble (partially), move rods, and reassemble front panel. Cam locks don’t turn in or lock as nicely as in their first use. Used the extra new cam-lock (supplied) to replace one original one, so unit strength is not compromised.
I was very pleasantly surprised with this cabinet. It looks really good and while it took me a couple of hours to assemble it the instructions were very clear and very well written. The most amazing part - when coming to the final big assembly - all the pegs, and bolts and cardboard backing lined up and I was so surprised I had to check it over a couple of times to make sure. The only tool needed is a Philips (star) screwdriver - I had a ratcheting one which save a lot of time and effort as there are a lot of things to screw in this. Of note - the bottoms of the drawers are a heavy cardboard (not wood or MDF) and I am interested to see how they hold up. My lesson learned - pay close attention to the instructions when mounting the rails to the drawer. I reversed the side panels on the filing drawer and because I did not follow the instructions the drawer would not close completely. I disassembled the drawer, mounted the rails properly, reassembled the drawer and it closed correctly. As I mentioned before it took me a couple of hours to assemble and save your wrist and get a ratcheting Philips screw driver. I highly recommend this printer stand / filing cabinet. If the color you are looking for is out on - go to their website and buy it there.
The cupboard took about 90 minutes to assemble but we are really pleased with it. We use it as an end table of sorts but with storage in the lower drawer for sheet music. Already know two other people who want one just like it.
Instructions for these things are always like a puzzle and I weirdly enjoy them but it wasnt any worse than anything else Ive put together. Glad to have a TV stand again. The negative is that two of the were broken. Inside where the wheel connects to the wheel cover it a little piece of plastic that holds it together and that part was broken on a locking wheel and another. Have to figure out how to get new ones sent. I will say, the are pretty weak sauce to begin with and probably shouldnt be used to support such a heavy piece of furniture in the first place. But, the cabinet is sturdy. The filet cabinet portion hadls ball bearing sliders and one ball bearing fell out on each side of the sliders too but doesnt seem to cause any problems with functionality.

Assembly, look, and functionality totally as advertised.

Tedious to build but love the finished product!

Everything fit and works pending new from supplier.
