We love this cabinet, but it was a labor of love to assemble. My son and I worked on it together and it took us close to 2 hours. We arent newbies at assembling furniture either. Just know its not a 15 project. Perfect size and color for my needs.
I bought two of these cabinets. The first one I assembled and should have been wearing a chemical mask. The smell was so powerful that I opened up up all doors and windows. The assembly took awhile, not one piece is already put together. Once completed, I put in a room for about a month with windows open. I took the other cabinet pieces out to air out as well. When it was time to add these to our finished basement, they still had that strong smell so I put baking soda bowls inside and out. It isnt worth 450 with the assembly and chemicals. Im so unhappy with this product.
Im a small woman, age 71, and managed to put this together. Most of it I could do by myself, but I needed someone to hold the doors while I attached the initial screws. The directions were clear, but the pictures helped immensely. What I really liked was the extra packet of parts and tools. I also liked the round head hex wrench. The main issue, and I found it a large one, was the strong odor (not especially pleasant) coming from the furniture / I assume the paint. I coughed for 12 days straight. At this point, either the odor is getting better or I am getting used to it, but Im not coughing as much. Weve been able to keep the windows in the house open, but the winds are picking up, so well need to close up to keep the desert dust out. If you have any breathing issues, I suggest another choice. The other more slight issue, is the paint chips easily, so I had difficulty attaching the hinges without chipping the paint. In general though, I like the looks of the product and the way it functions. Good but not what I expected
Its exactly as described, Its beautiful in my office, or could be in kitchen, bathroom, this is sturdy and very nice I female 5.1 106 lbs put it together with step by step instructions Easy peasy!! very reasonably priced as well.
We know that this is not a piece of high end furniture, but we love the sturdiness of it. More than this, the chest brings with it a mood or atmosphere/quietly comforting, peaceful. I love it. The dark wood goes with the rest of our furniture. Luis was a dear. He sat down and put the initial parts together. He is a bright young man with a robust work ethic. You have a good one there! Cute and comfortable

Nice Cabinet
Required some effort to assemble, but clear instructions made it easy to follow. Looks nice and serves its intended purpose well. it is very pretty.
