    Patience Precious, Patience...

Other than UPS requiring a signature (which I didnt realize and resulted in a delay of a weekend for delivery) the package arrived well packed. I did note a few tiny nicks and scrapes but not enough to make me return it. Assembly... The instructions only got a cursory glance. They try to do too much with one drawing. But - its pretty obvious how its put together. I inventoried all parts, assembled the sides, then the back decorative rail and then just put the rest together. Getting the upright slats in was a tiny bit challenging but just do it from one end to the other, one at a time and used painters tape to hold it together while I attached one side upright rail. I also used painters tape to hold the long rail together. It wasnt hard, just required some patience and planning ahead. I only needed help to get the mattress onto the platform - that was unwieldy and a bit too heavy for me. I do also have a hex head for my Makita drill - the supplied allen wrench bites. Im a little surprised at the weight limit noted in the instructions of 225 pounds. By the time you get a 70 lb mattress on it that takes you down to a person 150 lbs or less. But...that is not me or anyone I might know. So having tested it myself for a few nights I am reasonably certain it will hold up to 225 + 70 safely. If youre nervous - go to the lumber store and get a few more slats. It looks quite nice and its not at all wobbly, creaky or anything else. Its pretty much what I wanted and better than I expected.

This bed is perfect for my loft looks great but was hard to put together alone need two people. It took three hours for us and I had to call on the name of Jesus to finish.

Creatively putting the full size together all by myself.

Its not for everyone, but its perfect for us! I love this bed! My 11 year old daughter loves this bed. It is difficult to put together. It comes all in pieces, including the little slats, which stay in place with tension, which is difficult to achieve with one person. I used wood glue to tack them in place and then paint tape to create the tension needed to hold it together long enough for me to get it all screwed in.

    Very Pleased

Really great bed for the money. I shopped extensively before purchasing. Looks really good in my guest room. I put my money into a high quality mattress. Its a pillow top so its very thick and tall. It comes up almost to the top of the bed edges. Something to think about when you buy a mattress. It definitely took 2 people to put together though assembly was otherwise straightforward and pretty simple. Didnt give it 5 stars because it stank horribly of insecticide when opened. It caused me to get a headache and become dizzy during assembly and it was 2 or 3 days before it aired out. There would have been no sleeping in the same room with it prior to that. I appreciate that these things need to be protected from pests, but there must be less toxic options.

    Simple but sturdy

Instructions for assembly would be helpful It took a little while to put together but seems to be sturdy and stylish. There is enough room under the bed for storage which is a nice feature.
