Took a while to assemble and really suggest you do it with a friend. ALSO, keep an eye on the lowest handle we had to redrill partially because the handle was too short.
The cabinet is sturdy and does the storage functions I needed one for. Once assembled the cabinet works great and is easy to move about. It handles the weight of a printer with ease. However, assembly requires sorting through many individual pieces. The large pieces are labeled and small items are package to help organize assembly, but the instructions could use some enhancements. At times I had to look at the pictures and what the final assembly should look like, to determine how the larger pieces should be oriented. Once assembled it is a good cabinet, but be prepared for lots of time to assemble.
Three things to note: The glossier wood looks nice, however will require a lot of regular cleaning to maintain that sleek look. (It shows fingerprints/handprints fairly clearly, so do invest in a good cleaner, especially right after assembly!)
Two: This doesn’t feel sturdy or secure as you build it. The type of hardware it uses feels rather questionable until it’s fully assembled. Be prepare to tighten things constantly as you build it. Do pay attention to the instructions when it tells you to not screw certain types of screws too tightly, or you’ll have to do LOTS of back tracking to loosen them. (I learned from experience on a different piece of furniture— not this one.)
Three: The directions are fairly easy to follow, however when you reach the point it requires you to add the edges on top of the filing cabinet (to make it possible for floating files), you essentially have to unscrew two screws to get the piece to fit over the top, and then resecure it. It’s not a big deal, just a tiny bit of back tracking.
Package arrived very quickly and material was very well packed. they had great support corners to protect it all (I will keep those for craft projects!) I was glad to see no glue or hex keys. I assembled it with no problems from the directions, except for the drawer glides and I put those on backwards, but just because I didnt pay attention to the instructions, so it was my fault. It would make it easier if the drawer glides were marked better for the front and back and DL/DR and CL/CR. those were very hard to see, which is why its only 4 stars.
But I love the sturdiness and looks. So much I bought 2 of the matching file cabinets.
Assembly wasn’t pain staking however my file drawer continues to fall apart . Careful of what you set on top of this as the black scratches pretty easy. Has a good amount of storage though and does look nice.
Like the other reviews say, it is a pain to assemble. Its not difficult, but very time consuming. It uses the cam-lock system that many other DIY furniture uses. So, its solid once put together but it takes a long time -- I did it over a couple of days. Looks good and feels sturdy once assembled. No missing or damaged pieces and was well packaged. I just wish it was bigger (taller and deeper). All in all, worth it for the price.
Beautiful wood finish.... instructions were very clear and all parts labeled. I would have kept it but for a few dollars more I was able to purchase a full desk. I live that it had a key-lock drawer.

Does what’s it’s needed for
Has a filing cabinet with a lock and some extra space. I just needed the filing cabinet and got a little extra.
Good cabinet but lots of assembly instructions

Solid 4 out of 5

Sturdy and looks amazing
Looks amazing but hard to assemble when putting the top portion on the ply boards would not fit in easily
No problem putting the unit together
I liked the drawer along with the file cabinet
high quality for the money
