Ensure you read the instructions carefully. I had an issue with the rail system for the drawer. I initially put them upside/down. Other than that, it was easy to assemble. I had 2 screws left but not sure where they go. it is the best product.
Directions were very basic, no written directions just pictures. The color is BLACK, I ordered thinking it was espresso but doesnt match my other furniture that is espresso. Its not bad its just not great.
After researching Walmart, Wayfair, and every other place for a cost effective Entry Table (gray). I decided to go with my first time ever, buying Furniture. And I must say its delivered timely, Wood is very, very sturdy. DIY built by myself and I must say it wasnt bad at all. I would recommend to anyone. No complaints, really happy
I was surprised when I received this in the mail and felt how heavy it was. When I finished assembling it, it felt heavier than most furniture I put together and that includes a TV stand and a corner desk! Thats a good thing though, its sturdy, can withstand a LOT of weight, and a very stylish console table. Not to mention its very affordable at 100 compared to many other console tables out there that may weigh less or not have as much functionality to them. You also get some parts if you want to mount it to the wall, but I didnt find it necessary.
So why the 3 stars. A few different things. Usually with furniture you have to assemble yourself, you get a plethora of extra parts and screws in case something goes missing or an extra is needed. My kit didnt receive any extra pieces except for ONE screw. A minor gripe but worth mentioning. Second was the assembly itself. It took me up to 3 hours to build (wouldve been half that but I had issues at the end, see below). Building myself I had to use some storage cubes to help hold it up so the structural integrity of the incomplete build wouldnt be compromised and break. It did get a little frustrating with using the screw bits to fit everything, but a little patience got it to work. Im also a novice at assembling furniture so that might be on me.
The last complaint and why my build time almost doubled is the drawer itself. The drawer itself was a pain to assemble because of the way you have to line up the bottom board within the drawer. It sometimes got itself randomly loose while putting on the front piece, so Id have to fiddle with it to get it done perfectly. Speaking of front piece, it was probably the toughest piece out of the entire drawer just because of the way the screws were lined up and how you had to connect everything while keeping the bottom board piece aligned. It took me half a dozen tries to find a way to make it work properly without the front piece coming off, and in those attempts I almost chipped too much of the board away. The instruction manual wasnt exactly clear either, but Ive put together much more frustrating furniture.
Overall, while it was a bit difficult/frustrating to build especially for one person, you cant beat the quality of the finished product for 100. Its a beautiful solid piece that can withstand a lot of weight and fits in very nicely within a hallway, an accessory to a living room area, or extra storage in a small office. highly disappointed
This is a great piece. Im using it as a nightstand next to my bed. Its very sturdy, looks great and best of all has tons of space. It is the same height as my bed too which is what really made it great. Took about an hour and a half to assemble lackadaisically. The draw is on slides. cant praise it enough!
My boyfriend put it together in 2 hours, although the pictures didnt do a good job at explaining the steps. All in all, a good table just more difficult assembly than necessary. still feels plenty sturdy

Great table for a hallway!
My daughter put this table together by herself! It is a very sturdy table and looks great in her hallway! I totally recommend it
