Was easy to put together. Very sturdy. The pegs that hold shelves up are not very tight but hold shelf once in. Only thing I do not like is the pad on top. I think the sticky pads would pull off finish if you have to remove to wash it, and would surely come off the pad. I did not use those. I am not a fan of color of pad, but that is personal preference. The material of pad seems pretty well made. It does not feel as it is cheap fabric.
Overall so far it seems to be a good product.
First, have realistic expectations. This is the line. Keyword basics. Its not supposed to last a lifetime or be an heirloom. Its for people with working households, or maybe lots of pets, things like that. Those that, for whatever reason, dont want to spend a lot on a piece that may not be treated with kid gloves, but still want something that looks decent and functions.
With that in mind, Im going with 4 stars. Thats not to say its fabulous or gorgeous or whatever. Just that, for its purpose, I think its a decent option to consider.
Its fairly light weight. I could find no weight rating, but Id say 150 max (total) for top weight. The cubbies, well, if youre looking for something to store your cannon balls in, probably keep looking. For kid boots, muddy things, theyll do just fine.

The cushion fabric is decent. A good tight weave, feels fairly sturdy. Padding is minimal, but its not really a sit-for-comfort piece. More like kids putting on their shoes.

I had a hard time putting this together. The pre-drilled holes for the base were very hard to drill in and you had to get them perfectly straight. Definitely get a drill for this. The other hard part was putting in the back board that had no pre-drilled holes. It would have been easier if they were nails instead of screws. Once again, get a drill for this part and a helping hand since one needs to hold the board while the other drills.
Overall, it is sturdy. I like the look of it, though I do wish they had this in different colors. Doesnt hold what I originally wanted in there because the box was too big as the door wouldnt closed. Oh well. Would buy again. Finally I have something nice to put shoes in and doesnt look like a mess. Even put my dogs harness and leash in the cubby holes.
This bench looks great once assembled, however, out of the package there were pieces that were mislabeled, holes missing, and stripped screws. The wood looks nice and I am happy with the final appearance.
This is a very nice piece of furniture. Although a bit tedious to assemble it wasnt difficult and appears to be very well made. My only complaint is one of the upright pieces did not have the holes drilled to insert pins for a shelf to sit on. Not a deal breaker because we are using it for shoes by our entry way so well just put boots on that side. Other than the one small problem I would recommend this unit.

Issue 1, pre-drilled holes on the left side of bench base for the door off about 1/4 of inch from the side panel. Had to drill my own holes. Issue 2, missing one magnetic plate. I am happy with the product.
Packaged well but one board had a small chip out of the box. Easy to put together but ensure you look at where the notches are in the boards before putting it together (spoiler alert: husband didn’t). It seems sturdy for a lighter-weight person, but not sure how strong for a larger person.
Wed suggest doing step 5 before step 4 in the instructions because it’s easier to turn the unit over and balance it on the two middle pieces to attach the two side boards, otherwise accessing the cam locks is difficult. Requires a flat-head and phillips-head screwdriver, but we used just a phillips for the whole thing.
Cushion is thick and comfortable, velcros to the top so it doesn’t slide off, and the cover unzips for washing. The cubes fit 10.5-11 cube drawers perfectly (we purchased the ones). We put the bench in our preschoolers room and its perfect for him to sit and read on.
I love this bench! Easy to assemble if you follow directions well. Seems pretty sturdy. My only complaint is that it’s smaller than I’d like. I measured dimensions before buying but it just smaller when it’s right on front of you.
Nice product. It looks great. A little smaller than expected but it fits shoes just fine and is a nice hight to sit. Only issues I have is that all of the shelves have notches for the shelves to sit on the pegs except for the tall cabinet and the shelves are a little small for the spaces (if bumped hard they fall). As many people stated in the reviews, there are no pre-drilled holes to secure the back but if you apply a little pressure to the screw they go right in, no problem. It took me an hour to assemble by myself with the help of my 2 year old lol. Was pleasantly surprised that it came with its own magnetic screwdriver for assembly which was really nice. Overall, Im happy. It looks nice and the outside is very sturdy.
