id give it 5 stars but the main support U piece was missing for top bunk, other than that its sturdy, stong, u can even lift top bunk off to sit on floor as a seperate bed , very cool bed my boys love it,also having a home drill makes work faster took me a few hours using the wrench provided but i was taking my time so Well made and packaged.
The beds arrived quickly and had all the parts.
It was a bit of a pain to put together as the instructions were unclear at times.
While not as sturdy as some of the 1000 options it is perfectly safe and held up against myself aggressively trying to break it before my kids slept in it.
Dont use pillow top mattresses or its just too small. Great!
The bunkbed is great. It wasnt too difficult to assemble, definitely use a real ratchet to save time. The mattresses need support, we picked up some plywood from the hardware store and it works perfectly. If the mattress supports were better, I would give 5 stars. Good quality.
So i almost wished i would have opted in for someone else to put it together not really complicated just rough to do alone, and the Phillips barrel nuts are dumb. works great.
Rough to assemble alone.
Did not notice any damaged pieces while assembling but two weeks later Im seeing some chipping and cracks along the rails.
Will definitely have to cover and/or sand down to avoid rough edges or potential splinters Not super sturdy.
The bottom wood rails (See image) are mislabeled. Both are H parts list and it should be an I and an H. Not knowing which correct H to use will make you disassemble the bottom bunkbed later.
Also, a pick tool (See image) may be needed to clear out wood debris from manufacturer/cuts or else screws wont go in. Having a mallet also wouldnt hurt too.
And finally, be careful if using power tools. It can damage/crack the wood as youre tighten the long screws. A Milwaukee Surge (fluid drive) may be best. Its more gentle than regular drivers.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT USE an impact driver. That will damage the wood!!!
A second helper is needed to build some sections. Instructions are really good, but a helper will make the process smoother. Love it.
Good quality. Items easily marked. Instructions were simple to follow. However. The way you have to hold pieces together to screw them Into place was nearly impossible. It took me about 4 hours to complete on my own and I was not thrilled by the end! Ha. But it was worth it. My boys love it. Save some money and buy this.

Great Bunkbed for Little Kids

Great bunkbed, but with one mislabeled part.
