Excellent value. My 5/year/old daughter loves it!

Finally getting around to upgrading my nearly five/year/olds room. A big kid bed was the first step. A low loft bed appealed to me for safety and storage capacity underneath. This was no frills, affordable, and appeared to be good quality. My daughter helped me organize all the pieces, which were clearly labeled. The instructions were simple enough. We finished in 3 hours, and you can decide for yourself if a child assisting helps or hinders that time, lol. I felt the assembly was pretty easy, as I didnt swear a single time. Im fairly content with its sturdiness, but it does shake a little if my daughter is being extra active in the bed. Could it be sturdier? Sure, but Im not concerned with its safety, and I hope this reinforces to my daughter not to use the bed like a big toy. The ladder is very stable and can be screwed in to the bed by the hooks. With just three steps, its very easy for my daughter to come and go. It doesnt come with its own storage, but the low loft bed provides great storage underneath. 4 drawer cubbies easily fit under the loft, for example, and theres room for her toys and its a fun place to play. She really likes this, and I like that it helps provide a semblance of organized chaos to all her toys. Im very happy with this purchase overall and the way it fits the room. The bed is a great value and good quality. I really like the gray. A few pieces had some imperfections (a dent or two in the wood, but very minor). Cant wait to paint the walls and get new decor up to give her the big kid room she wants and deserves. Well made and packaged.

    Great bed. Horrible assembly instructions!

I wouldve given this bed 5 starts but it was horrendous to assemble. The instructions came with pictures only that were very confusing. None of the hardware was labeled. If you purchase this bed, I recommend laying all of the hardware out and matching them up with the instructions pages that tell you how many of each piece you have. It took me 4 hours by myself to put this together and I usually do a pretty good job of assembling things by myself. Good quality.

Super cute and nearly exactly what I wanted!

Super cute and nearly exactly what I was hoping for! Really the only downfall is the steepness of the slide, which was a little disappointing since its the reason I bought it. But with some pillows at the bottom it helped a ton to soften the landing from such a quick ride! Overall, it was an awesome purchase! Just be ready for a lengthy assembly lol Value for money.

    Well worth it!

Gorgeous bed and very sturdy. Did have a crack in one piece as seen on many others. Otherwise it is perfect. Assembly is time consuming but the directions are thorough and easy to follow. Great!

    Great product for price

Overall it was a great purchase for the price. The biggest challenge is definitely taking the time to build it. This is one of the most challenging build it yourself items I have had to work with. You will def need two people to piece together the left and right sides of the bed together, and if you get the stairs (like I did) be prepared to spend another 1/2 hours at least putting those together. The instructions were good enough, better than I was anticipating per some of the reviews. The challenges I had are the following: / screws are not labeled outside of cartoon drawing describing each screw so for the most part you can figure it out, but it just takes a lot of unnecessary hassle for something that could be fixed by just marking the bags of screws the same way the bed parts are labeled / there were some minor mistakes, item 13 was labeled 14 (and 14 was 13), instructions were conflicted on some early steps by identifying one screw in the summary but a different screw in the actual step / some of my parts had minor cracks, nothing concerning but still shouldnt be that way when brand new / the plugs used to plug the unused staircase screw holes did not fit properly, so doesnt look as good as it could / one of the step connections was angled too much to where the fastener could not screw in properly, in the end I couldnt screw in that step properly, but luckily there are enough fasteners everywhere else so it doesnt seem to be a problem Also my completed bed seems very sturdy which contradicts some of the other reviews that the bed is wobbly, so it may be hit or miss in quality (I happen to just get a good one) or perhaps minor mistakes in building it could cause the bed to become wobbly which reconfirms the challenge of building this thing right. Despite the challenge in putting it together, I still recommend it for the price. It seems pretty sturdy, even I jumped into the bed with my son and felt secure. And the best part is he absolutely loves it (he turns 3 years old next month) Good quality.

Real darn nice so far! (24 hours assembled)

I hope to update with pictures once I have some stuff, Im a fifteen year old and was able to assemble everything pretty much by myself, I only really needed help (two people) to hold some planks up while I worked other things. I have never built anything like this before, and the directions werent hard for me to follow at all. Keep in mind Im inexperienced and fifteen years old, so I think that says something about being able to assemble everything. So far Im happy with it. Its real sturdy and doesnt feel wiggly at all even with me on it. Now, Two pieces arrived broken, and one broke while just holding it. I had some proper glue, so it wasnt hard at all to fix them, so that didnt really bother me at all especially since they were all pieces of the stairs. Some of the parts were also mislabeled, and I think part 13 wasnt labeled at all. That caused me a little confusion, but those are really all the complaints I have, leaving a 4/5 review. Im not going to bash anybody too quickly as these issues were resolved easily. I have a really small room, and I think this should leave me a nice space to feel comfortable in with more space as well! Ive read most reviews about parents and their toddlers, but I am a teenager and still plenty satisfied. Im not used to a loft bed, but Im sure with this Ill definitely get used to it. works great.

    Great for the price

My 4 year old downsized to a small bedroom, so we needed to be strategic about storage. For the price, this bed is great! We are able to use cubby storage and added a strip of lights underneath, which he loves. Seems sturdy enough! My daughter love it!!!

    Its ok

Instructions are crap, wood is cheap (after its together DO NOT lift by the slide not even a little!) our wood cracked by the slide at the top 10 minutes after being built when we slightly tried to shift the bed. Took my husband and dad roughly 2 hours to put together and its pretty sturdy. A couple boards came with a slight crack but nothing bad. Our almost 4 year old loves it. Love it.

Time Consuming To Assemble, But Worth It

This bed is as cute in real life as it looks in the pictures. Its not too hard to assemble, but youll definitely need 2 adults. It took my boyfriend and I about 3 hours to put together. The amount of parts and pieces looks overwhelming, but once you get going its not too difficult. The loft bed frame was easy to assemble. The stairs took the longest. Quality is good / it can be taken apart again to move without ruining the wood. All lofts are a little bit wobbly. This is no exception, but it feels sturdy. My only complaint is that the steps are slippery. Well be adding grips or carpet tiles for traction. I do think the product is worth the money. This is a bed that my child can use for years until shes ready for a taller loft, and then be passed on to another child. Save some money and buy this.
