I was looking for firm. And thats what this is. It is much easier on my back than couches where you fall in get stuck. The only negative is that the back of the couch is super firm. I added throw pillows to correct this. Overall, great value for the Great!
While this sofa is a great quality for the price, you need to know that its deep seating, so shorter people need pillows for their feet to touch the ground, and its extremely firm all over. Its great for a formal living room that you may use once or twice a year but not for the family room and everyday use.
Also you may not know this, but this sofa is made for larger people and holds up to 1300 lbs. WOW works great.
Like similar reviews have said about this couch, it is a VERY firm couch. However, the trade off is that it is a very well built, and extremely good looking mid century couch. Its easy to assemble (just have to put the legs on). My daughter love it!!!
This is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and comes with a dust cover that can be stored in a zipper pocket beneath. As with the other items in this collection, it is a bit firm (which is a good thing) and oversized. I guess that the Asian guys who designed this must think that westerners are overall as well as overweight. It is so deep that I had to buy a bunch of 24 pillows for support. Im 511 and its a bit large for me. It has a decent fabric. Overall, I like this collection. I am a fan of mid/century design. These pieces look great in my 1960s African Pan Am/themed living room and they would also be perfect for art deco (Miami Vice) architecture or any environment that has clean lines. Love it.
The color was a little darker than I was expecting but I like it. The back is firmer when I thought it would be with tufts, I just put a couple throw pillows on it Save some money and buy this.

CONS: The cushions arent reversible. If you get a stain, too bad, you cant flip it. Learn to love that stain.
CON: This couch is VERY FIRM. I love a firm couch because it have back problems, but to a lot of people, this will be a big con. This isnt really a Netflix and chill sofa. I am hoping it breaks in a bit because its kind of hard.
CON: Couch came in a giant box. The delivery guys brought it inside (threshold delivery only), and left it. That was it. I had to get the couch out of the box which wasnt all that easy, and legs assembled by myself. Big pain in the butt. The couch is 150lbs, and I was alone with two toddlers, and they refused to help. Expected.
This sofa is definitely firm when first out of the box. Even in about a week, its softened up. I really enjoy it! It looks great in person, the fabric feels durable, and it definitely adds that mid century modern look! Great product for the cost! Ive napped on it and enjoyed the way it sleeps also! Good deal and was easy to put together.
LOVE the style and color. Shipping was right on time, per scheduled delivery. As others said (I combed the reviews obsessively before buying furniture on ) this is FIRM / no plopping down and sinking in to this one. Also deep, so pillows and curling up on it are musts. We have a dog and the ottoman has been her fav spot (came a week or so before the couch) and I think its going to hold up well. I love it space saver I am back to buy another one.
The assembly was really easy.
I was surprised how big the couch and matching chair are.
My wife says she feels like a little kid when she sits on the chair, her feet dont touch the floor.
There were a few snags on the couch, I just cut them off and it seems fine.
Its BIG and VERY FIRM, so if you are looking for something to melt into, this is not it.
We wanted the retro look for our weekend beach home, and it works for us
