It is a bit smaller than expected, other reviewers said the back of the chair tappers in and it truly does about 7 inches. Big butts beware. Its comfortable enough for online classes but because its snug I couldnt sit in it for more than a few hours. I got it because its not too big and it slides under my desk.

This chair was very frustrating to put together because one of the holes did not line up so I was just stuck because I couldnt install one of the screws and therefore couldnt put the legs together. It would have otherwise been extremely easy if it was made without defects. I had to use a drill to create a hole that would line up. Overall it was very frustrating. The chair itself looks nice. Not very comfortable for sitting in for 8 hours but it would do for a few hours. Not as easy as people say.
