Needed some thing I could setup in my bedroom that wouldnt be an eye sore while needing to work from home. The only room I could add it to for now was my Master Bedroom. Had a small one that I was using that was just too small to be able to work. Found this 2 person but it is perfect for one to be able to use too. Easy enough to move the and use the length of it with desk chair and wheels for different tasks other than the computer. Finally was setup yesterday ... so happy with it. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because one corner of the top came damaged which will probably eventually chip off. Not enough to make me pack it up and return it though. Can live with it. For this price this desk is really amazing looking and wonderfully functional!
Our two teenage boys are home schoolers it the desk has worked great. We have two comptures set up and we never hear any compliants of not enough room.
This will be the BEST review you have ever laid eyes on. To preface, this item came to me a day late.. and in this day and age when I pay for prime shipping, I was not very upset and gave me $10 in credit. Yay for me. In this narrative I will explain the death defying stunt I went through on May 2nd 2019 and May 3rd 2019. On this day, I woke up so excited to open up this bad boy and finally get a desk in my spare bedroom. I had a total of 30 minutes before I had to leave work and you know what? I took the challenge and was able to build the entire center of the desk...little frustrating... but the directions are very self explanatory. Then today, came the feat of the build, the absolute climax... It wasnt frustrating for the most part, as long as you have basically a lifetime of patience. One of the screws came without a hole large enough for the allen wrench to even go in it, so it was completely flat on the top. No biggie, I grabbed a wood screw about the same size and that seemed to have done the trick. When screwing in the two desk top pieces, I would advice to be VERY sure of where they are placed, due to the fact that the pre drilled holes meant for the screws have these plastic bits in there and they are quite honestly a one time use sort of thing, if you make a mistake and you have to move the top around then you basically cant use that screw in that hole...bummer, but again no big deal. That happened with about two if my screws, both were on the back end of the desk and did not change the integrity of the desk itself. Now, I Ive got a handful of leftover screws because either the hole didnt match up perfectly enough, or that plastic bit I mentioned earlier just wont allow the screw to enter it at all. Overall, about an hour and a half of work altogether I would say it is just as I had assumed it was going to be. furniture is all the same, little to no directions, and a whole lot of room for human error. However, this one came out very nice, I now get to have a vanity on my side and my husband can do guy stuff on his side. I do not regret this purchase and for $130 for this huge desk, its very much worth it. -fin-
Love this desk. Perfect workspace and plenty of space for two people to work. Directions are a little more difficult to decipher than your typical IKEA directions, but we got it done. Definitely a two person job to assemble too. Once everything is secure the desk is very sturdy.
I was looking for my working desk and my daughters computer desk which We can share the space. This is perfect! Only one things I don’t like is there are the numbers stamped everywhere we can see after assembled.
I know, i know... 2 person desk for a small apartment...? YES! The reason is that we use one side of the desk for working and the other side for decor or TV stand. It is multifunctional.
It was installed in about an hour and 3 beers.
I love the design! However the “black” is more like dark chocolate (not a deal breaker but still annoying). Instructions are a bit vague, but once you get going on it it’s easy to assemble. Great desk for a great price!
