So let me start off by saying the finished item is beautiful. I posted a couple pics and those were from after I cleaned and polished the wood. We have been wanting one of the barn door tv stand for a while so we were really excited. How hard could it be? My husband took the lead on building it. I walked into the living room about an hour later and he had 2 pieces together of about 200 (including screws bolts etc). He was visibly annoyed so I took over. An hour later I was still putting it together and my husband decided to step in and help me. We both like to do it our way so it turned into a big argument (True colors shine when assembling furniture with your SO). Anyway, after contemplating my marriage to my husband/ we finally got it finished and it looks really nice. If i could do it over again i would have boughten the expert assembly.
I am updating this review as I have found this product to be more sturdy than I have previously stated. After mounting the back plane of this product it provided a more solid feel. I will say that I would not recommend moving this product often as this would probably weaken the integrity (plus it is very heavy and not easy to move especially on carpet). As stated before the pieces are very solid individually and unit looks very nice once assembled. I have upgraded my previous review from 1 star to 4 star since resolving the sturdy issues that I was having. Product was received 1 day early than expected and all pieces were in 100 condition. This took me about 2 hours to assemble by myself and really looks great after it is all assembled. I will agree with other reviews that the packaging was a bit of annoying with the Styrofoam pieces sticking to the pieces and took a while for clean up after being built but overall I have decided to keep product and I am satisfied.

Fantastic TV stand
Beautiful and functional. Big and nice color. But hard to assemble. My father in law was in charge of this and it took a couple hours.
