exactly as described and more Its very easy to put together. I did it by myself in a couple of hours. Its holding up great so far. My only complaint is that the drawers are not as deep as they seem. They are about half as deep as the front of the drawer is tall. They dont hold a lot of clothes. My daughter already has a small wardrobe and after getting this bed, I had to get rid of more clothes and figure out other storage solutions, which defeated the point of getting this bed.

Didnt receive all the parts had to wait for them to come in.. waiting over a month after the first box to put it together when I received all the parts.the bed is well made and good material.. wish I had it sooner
After I was charged $340 delivery fee for 2 beds. One of them arrived damaged as you can see in the pictures. I contacted the seller and havent heard back all day. I wouldnt recommend this seller but the bed itself is fine. Other sellers offer the same product
So the bad first. The drawers are a major disappointment. Its mostly pressed board and not made overly well. For the price I paid for this whole bed I absolutely was expecting better wood than pressed wood. Plus the drawers are shallow and 3 shorter than the frame and they are incredibly shallow. I would give the drawers 3 stars if I could rate them separately. The only reason why I wouldnt give it less stars is because it is only marginally better than brand furniture and because thankfully it actually matches the other furniture incredibly well. To be honest though, the drawers were a complete after thought for me. It was the bed frame I needed and wanted.
Now the good and the reason why I did give it 4 stars. The bed itself is great, which is what I needed most anyway. It matches perfectly with the other bed frame in the room and the bureaus I had gotten for my other daughters years ago from a high end furniture place. Plus my 13 yr old daughter put the entire bed frame together on her own! WITHOUT COMPLAINING!! She absolutely loves her bed and is incredibly happy with it. That is what counts the most. The slats are not solid wood, they are more of a layered wood similar to plywood, but not plywood, not sure exactly what it is. Ive not seen slats like this before but there are plenty of them and they seem pretty sturdy.
As for the seller though, great service. They shipped immediately and got the set a week early, even in a snow storm!
Price was a bit high, shipping was crazy high, but unfortunately there were not many other options for me. This set matches perfectly to a bed room set I bought years ago. So overall I am happy. Thank you.

ACE Hdwe had hardware the length and threading that I needed and required only minor modification on a grinding wheel.
.....take one of the too-short furniture bolts with you into the hardware store.
The wooden dowels incorporated in the headboard assembly benefited from application of old fashioned Elmers Wood Glue. The predrilled holes, for these wooden dowels, allowed too much slop in the fitting. Glue a necessity.
If needed, I would purchase a 2nd or 3rd unit for my home. Quite adequate for any of the 11 grandchildren or their parents.
Bought the bed for our son for his birthday. He loves it and loves the storage. It is a bit more sturdier than other beds weve looked atall in all satisfied with the purchase
