It looks better than expected. When the guide says two people are needed, please take their advice. I love the outcome. The platform bed looks good and is sturdy.
Its worth every penny. Smart buy. The transverse metal bars to Support the mattress are too short and barely fit along the lateral Support bars. The Support bars are made up of layers of thin wood and when screwing the supports in, the wood splits. We had to buy separate 2x1 for additional support.
The bed came in perfect condition. I like the look and minimalist style. Frame was easily put together. However, the metal slats slide through a fabric cover. And then more metal through the center for the support. The three legs attach to the center support. Then after thats all assembled (very awkward) its placed on the bed frame. It was very complicated, awkward and unnecessary. I bought a brand platform bed last week for my son and that design was simple. It had wood for the slats that laid down with ease. Just rolled on. Why make a platform bed with so many steps just for slats. It was very difficult to put together. And on top of that, its a fabric. Its just a dust catcher. With wood slats I can easily take the bed off and dust and vacuum. No way will I ever try and remove the slats/fabric (that are screwed into the frame) to try and clean. Id return, but its hard to find black frames and it is a pain. I might have my husband place wood slats at a later time. My daughters bed is a full (73) and the bed frame inside header board to inside foot board is 75. So there is at least a 2 gap. Which you can see in the picture. Seems larger for a full.
So easy to put together for someone as mechanically challenged as I am. Very strong and easy to put together, it was perfect with the orthopedic mattress that my mom needs. She arrived on time and the packaging a bit fragile but all good
For the price it is a reasonable buy Could use some verbal instructions to accompany it. How to video posted would also be useful. Daughter and I (mom with some experience) assembled the bed in 1.5 hours. Recommend having an electric drill and rachet set. Drill because the wood frame braces inside the side boards where the metal bars are to be attached do not have pilot holes. Rachet wrench is easier than provided tool. All parts are supplied. The boards are not real wood but pulpwood with a wood paper finish. For the cost I thought it was reasonable. Wish I could find the headboard which is mentioned in the directions. It does fit a full size mattress.
Gorgeous color and design Easy to assemble, sturdy, nice quality, beautiful detail. I had my friend help me put it together but I probably could have done it alone. The assembly took about 40 minutes and even that was because I didnt have a drill. So I was hand screwing in holes that didnt have a predrilled spot.

Issue with lateral support

Why design the slats with that much complication

Nice for the price
JUst as described and pictured I really like this platform bed. Very hard to assemble yourself though.
Surprised how easy to assemble.

Good Bed
Functional and nice looking Heavy, feels sturdy— slats are metal(I wouldve preferred wood).
Perfect
