So I didnt receive the frame that is depicted in the picture. Instead, I received a metal frame with one wood plank at the foot of the bed. I was a little disappointed at first and it was too much of a hassle to return so I kept it. Its sturdy and easy to assemble, but not what was pictured.
Love it !!!! It is actually better quality than I expected!!! I was feeling cheap after spending on a mattress but the wood is great quality and it has been pretty great this past year !
The bed frame is very easy to assemble. The slats appear to be flimsy individually. When the mattress is on top, it might alread out the weight
have no major weak points. The outter frame legs are very sturdy reliable. We will most likely be adding some form of additional support as a precautionary measure.

One side did have a nic/scratch, but I placed that side against the wall. Could easily be colored with a furniture scratch kit.

Nice bed frame and we have been using it without a box spring. My wife feels its more stable than a standard box spring and frame set up. Seems about the same to me, but I like the look over a box set and you can fit storage boxes underneath, so that is a plus.
Since we were upgrading bed sizes, my family needed something economical and reliable. This product has exceeded my expectations. It was incredibly easy to put together with just one person. The directions were easy to follow. There was a very handy ratcheting tool for the hardware included. I could have used one of these on similar projects. The sturdiness is a compliment to the design. The slats have Velcro and pegs to keep everything in place. With other bed supports I have noticed the slats sliding when I would change sheets. I doubt anyone will find a better, new product in this price range. Under the bed storage containers can easily fit underneath. This is handy considering the amount of space the bed takes up in a room.
