I ordered two of these for my Office/Spare Bedroom....They came quickly and in perfect condition! There is NO assembly required! Just take it out of the box, and decide if you want an ottoman, chair, or bed, and then make the adjustments accordingly! There is a handy sheet to show how to position! I have a chair, and ottoman set up currently, but can easily make them both into twin beds that can be put together to create almost a King sized bed if needed! Whoever invented this is a genius!!! I have not slept on it...it feels very firm....I may need a mattress topper if my guests say it needs one. However, I highly recommend this!!!!!
I received one defective and one damaged in the shipping package. The seller wanted me to pay additional shipping charges to return something defective that they had already charged shipping on. I would encourage you to shop for any 4 in 1 other than this one. The fabric is flimsy as best but the gears to change the position of the furniture got stuck on the very first day and they are still stuck. A second one was purchased and delivered with the box torn and the content was damp. The protective cover over the chair in side the box was ripped. Buyer Beware. The customer Service E-mail helped me to make some adjustment and clean up some problems. The return policy is not acceptable so beware My issues were finally resolved.
We havent used this as a bed yet but its my familys favorite chair. We dont use it as an ottoman really. But my kids sit on it to watch tv, color, or read, and when theyre not on it, its my puppys favorite spot. (I bought a waterproof stretchy cover for it.) Being able to raise one side to make a kind of recliner gave us extra seating and my dad and daughter hung out side by side watching Charlie Brown on Thanksgiving.
I had to have help to get into my home due to weight. This was fully assembled and easy to open fully into bed (twin size ) and back into ottoman. I have so much company and not enough sleeping arrangements. This is PERFECT for me and my home! Use in spare room with bunk beds. I like the easy to clean linen, also.
If you need something for an overnight guest, this will work. It is quite firm, so long term use is probably not feasible, which works great if you dont want your guest to overstay. It provides something to sleep on and is even an additional sitting option. BUT, if you are looking for a comfortable piece of furniture.......This aint it. Its not a bad looking piece, and is quiet impressive in how compact it becomes.
It is a very nice looking ottoman. Exactly what we wanted size wise for use as an ottoman in living room (playing a game, using as a snack-eating area). Primarily bought as a sofa bed for guests; twin size perfect: 37.5 x 74 x17 high. But really firm!. No manufacturing defects noted. Took a few tries to reposition the section with adjustable head. Just get it to the highest position and then push it down to a flat position; thus given a 4* with respect to easy to assemble.
Today, a 2 gel infused foam topper by Linenspa came; bought through . Along with an older mattress protector with some loft still, this twin sofa bed is much softer. Quite satisfied.
You don't have to assemble anything just take it out of the wrapper and youre good to go. Very convenient for moments of visit of only days is perfect. I recommend it! It is my second that I bought.

Versatile chair

I liked that it was assembled so right out of the box. Love the color its comfortable and sturdy. It support weight is 300 lbs.
