The bed is very sturdy and easy to put together. The slide is actually made of , which was surprising. I thought it would be plastic. Its defintiely a bed that will last a long time. I would say Im a little concerned about it having lots of sharp corner. Ill just have to have my kid be careful. Otherwise its a great buy. Dont over think it, youll love it!!
