Ok. Good price. After reading so many reviews I was skeptical. Yes it is like a laminate that you can clearly see could possibly peel; if you put something wet on it and yes it could possibly scratch easily, but its sturdy and these tables are really meant for decoration anyway. I love this stand and it is perfect in every way.
