    One piece came damaged

I am very pleased with the quality! I loved the quick shipping and delivery. The reason I gave 4 stars is because my item did not deliver the day I was given but did arrive the following morning, instruction are clear and easy to read. The only problem I have; when opening the pieces all were in excellent condition except for one which was damaged. One of the 3 shelves were broken on the side. Save some money and buy this.

    Good bed

Well built bed, best we could find, that said we need to tighten the screws again after a few months it is now a bit wobbly. A ladder step cracked with normal use. Asking for replacement part. overall we are very happy with this bed! Would purchase again. Expected.

Nice to look at but is quite rickety

My daughter loves her new bed, and its so pretty to look at now that weve decorated with fairy lights and girly stuff. Im really disappointed that the bed is not sturdy at all. I spent more on this bed compared to a similar one because its supposed to hold up to 400 lbs. The bed is so shackly/rickety, I would not allow more than 2 small 8 year old girls to sit on it at once. If you slightly move while youre on the bed, the whole thing wobbles. It was too expensive to be so rickety, but now weve got it all put together

    STRONG, LASTING ODOR

I purchased this bed because among other things, it advertised a non/toxic, low VOC finish. I am not sure why, but we have finally assembled it a week ago and it still emits a VERY STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL. I have left the window open every day, and at night I have turned on the air purifier in that bedroom. I am still not allowing my child to sleep in that bed and he is very disappointed, but I am concerned about the toxicity in the air. I am very disappointed about this. We will wait another week and hope that it will improve. I have actually purchased two. I will wait to unbox the second until I know that the first will lose the smell. Otherwise I will return it. Other than that it looks great, it is sturdy, and it is relatively easy to assemble. Good deal and was easy to put together.

    Satisfied

Overall we are pretty satisfied with this bed for our 8 year old. We previously had a twin over full bunk bed with stairs that was incredible sturdy so this one is a bit more wobbly. The ladder steps are definitely only for children/some steps are only held with pegs and not screws as well. The hardest part was the instructions. The majority of the hardware is not labeled so it took extra time figuring everything out. Myself and my boyfriend built this in less than 2 hours. I didnt care for the desk option on this piece so I purchased a different desk to fit under there. The shelves hold all of her scrap booking supplies and a few toys nicely. The shelves are very sturdy. I love it space saver I am back to buy another one.

    Daughter Loves It

My 5.5 yr old loves it, so thats what matters most. Weve only had it a week, so only time will tell if it stands up to the test of time. This was a long/term investment for us, so Im curious to see if it was made to last. Delivery came as expected via a Ryder moving truck. Driver was polite and courteous a brought box into our home at our request. MAN, was it heavy, good thing we have tiled floors, so we just pushed it to the bedroom. Unpacking we noticed everything was neat and tidy and for the most part, all labeled hardware was put in their own small box. As for assembly, it took us roughly 3 hours for me and my husband to put together. I mostly directed, while he did the building. Instructions were semi/easy to follow. Its all diagrams youre trying to follow in a stapled 40 page packet. We made a couple of mistakes along the way as we were confused those times, but overall a good experience. Bed looks nice, and has plenty of room for under bed storage and play area. Easy directions.

    Ups and downs.

Lets start from the beginning. Took about a week and a half from the time I ordered this bed to it being delivered. The box was hella heavy guys. Not even kidding. The spouse and I were struggling to get this up the stairs. Wound up cutting the box open and moving the pieces a few at a time. They were all intact with no damage. The item itself is pretty good for the price we paid. I do have some issues. We bought the white version and the paint is very thin. I think it was just quickly airbrushed, and not very evenly overall. I already had an incident where the ladder got knocked as I was putting it on, and the paint scrapped clear off a part of the upper frame where it sits. I can tell touching up the paint is going to become a thing. Also the directions are not the best. If youve ever assemble Ikea furniture, theyre on par, but perhaps slightly worse as none of the hardware is labeled and youre gonna spend half the time trying to figure out if youve got the right screws. I think I spent an hour just looking back and forth between the screws part list and the current instructions. Overall, took me about 4 hours by myself, and my kid is ecstatic. Excellent product!

Under Bed Area is shorter than you might expect

This bed seems sturdy and the clay color is really nice. My only complaint is that the area under the bed isnt high enough for my 12 year old son to stand up in. It works fine if hes sitting at the desk, but he cant walk under it. I realize this is our mistakethe dimensions are there, and I obviously didnt double check. But between the name of the bed being high and it being rated to 400 lbs., we made the mistake of assuming (yeah, yeah I know the saying) that it would be taller than it actually is. We had hoped to use this bed through his high school years, but Im thinking he will be passing it down to his younger brother in just a couple of years (or growth spurts). Kind of a bummer because he was so excitedtook a little bit of the wind out of his sails once we realized how short it was. (And hes not a tall kidjust in general.) Bought two great value for the money, durable.

    Nice bed

I did have to chisel a small chunk out where the ladder meets the frame so that it would rest properly. Not a big deal and invisible once done, but took off a star because of that fitting issue. Otherwise its a very nice set. Great Product.

Nice bed, slow customer service. Ladder is NOT 400lb weight limit!!

We love the bed and so does our 8 year old son. His school went back 100 virtual for the first month. Then a hybrid schedule, so he needed a work space. We looked and this was the best value we could find. It was made of wood and not mdf. We also liked the 400lb weight limit, but apparently thats not on the ladder also!! One of the shelves was slightly damaged, but not visible once assembled. It took my husband about 4 hours to assemble both the bed and desk. It did seem like once the desk was attached it made the bed feel more solid. My son is super happy with it! We were disappointed that two days after it was assembled, the second from the bottom step broke! My husband managed to turn it over to get it working for our son until a replacement is shipped. I called the company directly and had to put a request in via webpage and upload pictures. It took 24 hours to get an email back asking for more photos, I uploaded less than 2 hours after email was sent. Then 24 hours later, they emailed back asking for a different photo!! I uploaded but also called to express my feelings in 24 hour delays when its a safety issue! Still waiting for part, this started Monday 8 am and its Saturday 1:30 pm!! I cringe each time he steps on the step his dad turned over. Not super sturdy.
