This umbrella is awesome! Very sturdy and easy to put together. Be sure to get the 4 section stand base as it will surely keep the umbrella in place. I used sand and water mix and it doesnt move. Very happy with this large covering and ability to position the shade very easily as the sun moves around.
Umbrella was fairly easy to set up for 1 person. We set it up on a day with 30 mph winds and didnt want to leave it open too long, but it looked great, opened easily and adjusted without issue. It has been closed through rain and high winds for the last few weeks but we look forward to using it soon!
I received it a couple of days ago and assembled it yesterday. Very high/quality product. Very sturdy. You can use the base weights or bolt the umbrella to the deck.(Base has the holes already) We purchase 10x10 so the area is very big and you can tilt it and turn it around to block the sun. Very satisfied. I recommend paying a bit extra and getting instead of buying a questionable quality umbrella and changing them every season. do not waste the money, get REDWOOD

Unless your plan is to bolt it down you must buy the weights they also sell for it. Now I did purchase the weights but before placing them on the unit I tried to open it fully and extend to see just how sturdy it was without it and there is 0 chance of it not falling over so do yourself the favor of trying to be cheap and buy the weights with it unless your plan is to bolt it down. Other than that its immaculate!
We receive our package and less than 20min after it was already assemble and ready to be use in our patio. We chose the red one and we are really happy with the rendering. Finally, the foil is thick enough to have a real shade in the backyard. Perfect for our kids when they play outside.
My daughter told me how much she loved their 12x12 square cantilever umbrella so I decided to order one for our deck. It looks beautiful and protects our entire deck from the afternoon and evening sun. It is easy to maneuver with the changing sunlight to keep the space protected. It is well made and sturdy.
The umbrella assembly was very straightforward. I was excited to have the flexibility of being able to tilt and rotate as needed for coverage. With what were no more than 5 mph winds, the umbrella would rotate and shake. The mechanism to allow it to turn should have ratchets/stops. I can accept slight movement, but this was very severe with mild wind and movement of a foot or 2 in sway/rotation. Doesnt do much for you if you cant position it for coverage with it moving around. I expected much more as it is built pretty well, but the design issues are too much. I was forced to return.
This umbrella is very sturdy, we bolted ours to our deck and have had no problems at all. I do put it down in heavy winds though. I love the looks of it and how it covers a huge area of my deck with shade. I also love that I can put it up and down very easily. I am 51 and use a little stool but probably wouldnt have to.
The company is fantastic to deal with also. Mine came with the very top plastic cap cracked and they were very responsive in sending me a new one.
I am very happy with my purchase but I do wish, for the price you pay, that a cover was included. I did buy one separately because it has to sit outside all winter in Minnesota.

Redwood is really functional, sturdy and a very good looking umbrella
