this stand replaced an old black cabinet.I did not realise how it dominated the room until I replaced it with this TV stand.it is sturdy, nicely finished and easy to assemble.be aware that the picture creates the impression that the the bottom shelf is the deepest but it is the opposite.you also need to be mindful that all of your cabling and electrical connections may be easy to see as it has no back.
Its quite difficult right now to find media stands that are in this size category, which is the 30-inch range, give or take a few inches. It seems the current style is for low and wide stands. I had a limited amount of space, but at the same time needed to house a monster stereo receiver from the late 1970s. Harder to find a match that you would think.
I narrowed this unit and another similar for twice the price. I think they were otherwise the same exact product so went with the lower cost option. The shelf size is just enough for my stereo and its plenty sturdy for it. This receiver (pictured) weighs 55lbs by itself and its perfectly stable on the middle shelf.
Assembly was fairly quick and the product was NOT damaged in shipping. I also had all required parts, including the adjustable feet. It comes with allen wrenches that fit the two sizes of bolts so you wont need any additional tools to put this together. The instructions are simple, but the only one of the 3 shelves that was labeled (part 3) is indicated to be the middle shelf in the instructions. Theres no way it would work. It turns out that was the top shelf. In any event, regardless of how they label the parts, theres only one place each shelf will fit. There are two metal cross-members that are bolted between the legs. One end of one cross-member was not tapped properly so the screw would not thread in. I got it started but theres no way itll go the rest of the way in, so I left it partially inserted (see photo). Despite this the shelf and unit overall are still sturdy.
Other than these minor assembly issues this seems like a good buy for the money. Especially considering its fitment for space -- seems to fill a niche that not many other media stands are covering right now.
insutructions easy to read. Of course shipping causes dings to box that is excepted. Perfectly package no damage to table. The table is esactly as advertised and just what I wanted. A beautiful table
