    Small but nice

This is a cute little greenhouse. We added a small remote temperature transmitter to know when to open the door. In direct sun it can get really warm quickly. 65F outside and 95F inside. Holds heat well, we use a couple of heat lamps on another temperature controller to keep it warm when nighttime temperatures drop below 40F.

Needs a little help to be perfect.

I bought this to start my seeds and to store plants here and there inside when needed. I was a bit worried getting this greenhouse because of the bad reviews about the wind destroying them. But, after reading some reviews of how to avoid this I decided to build a base to mount this on to help it hold up. I made it out of cedar and attached the frame of the greenhouse using 1/2 inch pipe straps (for conduit). This secured it very well and stabilized the entire thing a bit more. I also backed it on a fence but did not attach in anyway to the fence. Two massive windstorms later and its holding up great. I read some reviews on the cover not fitting all that well. I hypothesized that it was due to the lack of squareness, so, I used a rubber mallet and some time to make sure each steel tube was seated into the plastic joint properly. Problem areas (not properly seated pipes) are very easy to see just by looking at it. Taking your time is very important so you do not over work harden the plastic joints or just power through them. The directions are pretty basic because its a pretty simplistic thing to put together all in all. Once I had everything squared up and fastened to the base, I slid the cover on and it fit like a charm. The thing zips up and down with ease. You get what you pay for here no doubt and to me it is worth every penny. UPDATE: The greenhouse has been in use for over a year now. It has survived multiple big storms. Everything is still holding up. The plastic cover is showing a bit of age but Id wager it still has a few years left. I use this thing every day and the zippers are holding up still. With a little effort to combat the wind, this is a solid greenhouse for the price and ease of construction.

throw away the tie/downs they give you and get your own

overall I like the construction, wire shelving ,metal frame but tie/downs leave a lot to be desired if youre going to buy this make sure you get your own way of tying it down

For the price, a well designed greenhouse that was easy to assemble. Replaced ropes and stakes with something sturdier for potential winds. Lots of head room for me (59). Shelves will only support flats rather than larger pots but I am using this house to start seedlings.

Could be better but is decent.

The stakes that come with it are very weak. We had to buy sturdier ones. The tarp will rip in strong winds where the strings are tied to it. Overall its not the greatest but with a little extra work it does what its needed for.

    READ BEFORE PURCHASING

UPDATE: it hasnt even been a year. My Greenhouse is leaking in several areas on the top. I messaged the seller to see if they replace covers or offer a discount on the replacement considering its only been 9 months. They dont. The replacement cover is 54. The actual item is 70 brand new. Might as well buy a new Greenhouse every 6 or so months if youre looking to house your plants continuously. I wouldnt purchase this product had I known this. Especially considering all the alterations I had to make in order for it to be durable. Keep looking or at least bare in mind this is a very temporary option and wont last you very long and the replacement price is a rip off. I love my greenhouse so far. We assembled it during some fairly high winds in California recently and it held up very nicely. I will say though that we made some adjustments. This product only comes with 8 zip ties. We used probably another 22 of our own to really secure the cover to the shelving. We also didnt use the equipment it came with to anchor it down. We instead used these screws and anchors pictured below on all four corners and the front and back of the framing. This is why I give it 4 stars for both stability and sturdiness. I feel like the shelving needs to be replaced or reinforced, especially for larger/heavier plants. But other wise I am very happy with my purchase. The cover is very thick and maintains temperature inside. The windows on either side are a nice touch. The front zippers seem flimsy so Im extra careful with them. As far as first timer green house/ this is perfect and my succulents and cacti are very happy/ therefore Im happy!

You get what you pay for.

Directions are pretty much straight forward. The tie downs are useless, a little wind will blow this structure around. You will need to go to Home Depot, etc. to buy some real tie downs to secure it. The wire shelves are also useless, you will need strong zip ties to hold these wire shelves in place. The plastic covering is now coming apart at the seams. They could have used Velcro to hold up the roll up door instead of short material, that is hard to tie. They also have material ties on the inside that tie to the structure which are too short. Been up now for about 3 weeks, You be the judge.
