I found this item in a local furniture store for about $100 or so more than it cost on , so I knew what I was purchasing. It was well packaged, but there was a small scuffed and unpainted área on the bottom shelf which does not show once the item is put together. I am a 65 year old woman and put it together myself, although it is quite heavy to move. I had no issues and simply followed the directions. I have it in my entryway and it is quite attractive. I like the fact that it is long and narrow so it is quite suited for a hallway. I would recommend the console.
Not sure why people are complaining about the drawers, its in the description they are made for lightweight objects. Looks great and does its job. Was pretty simple to put together but sone of the holes were different to line up.
Great for the price but do not expect the color in the photo. The wood parts of the unit are nearly as red hued or burled. Pretty dark actually. Otherwise for the price a nice piece...dont forget the drawers are fabric not a solid drawer.
All the metal components were light but yet well made. It looks great. I would buy more from this company just because of the quality. I didnt know that the drawers were cloth and cardboard and not wooden but actually like how it all turned out.

I think its a great value for the money. I was worried Id be bothered by the cloth drawers, but you truly cant tell. Would definitely recommend.
