We bought two of these as casual TV chairs in the family room. Intended for short watching when we rearranged and repurposed part of the family room. The chairs look good and although on the small side, my 6 tall, 200lb frame fits fine in them. The problem is the assemble. The legs go into deep slots in the chair and you insert long screws in the chair to reach the metal threaded inserts in the legs. This is fine except it is VERY hard to see what you are doing / have to do by feel. I nearly stripped a screw until I found a bright enough light to see what was going on / the holes on two of the legs (one on each chair) didnt line up. One was half the width of the screw off in both holes! I managed to fix this by making the holes in the chair bigger and shaving a bit of the shoulder on one leg with a coping saw and a chisel. Look in the holes with a very bright light if you are having trouble. Built strong.
This chair is beautiful and comfy! Was very easy to put together. I was worried that it would be too big for where I wanted to put it but it is a little smaller than what it appears in the picture. If I had anyplace to put a second one, I wouldnt hesitate to order again! Great value. Very sturdy.
This chair was easy to assemble, very well packages and very comfortable. Its bouncy but firm, soft and made well. I used it for a small reading space in a small room. Worked out perfectly! Attractive and strong.
