Lovely design, but chemical odor is overwhelming!

I had great hopes for this platform bed. It has great potential, but appears to have been made for the lesser price point - sacrificing even minimal quality in some areas. Honestly, if a more health-minded finish and stronger slats had been used, I would LOVE this bed - and buy a few more. As it is, I will probably be sealing or painting the wood to protect myself from the fumes, and will be replacing the slats with a sturdier wood. PROS: well-packaged for shipping simple directions fairly easy to assemble well thought-out and attractive design CONS: finishing of wood left unsanded rough spots, and uneven final coat of varnish/polyurethane STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL - I had to place outside for several days to allow smell to dissipate slats are poor quality wood, too soft and flexible for long-term and regular-use platform bed support NOTE: Use care when peeling the top layer off the double-sided tape. It is very thin, and the white covering over the tape will probably need to be separated by using a fingernail. See photo.

    Great bed

Great bed especially for the price. Easy to assemble also.

    Dont be fooled!

Bought this King bedframe specifically because there were reviews saying they had slept on it 6 months with no creaks/squeaks. That has not been the case for us! Bedframe started creaking after just 2 weeks of use. Husband and I are less than 400 lbs combined, no reason this should be happening. We bought this one to replace an obnoxious squeaky metal bed frame. Figured wood might be better - nope. Will stay away from in the future.

Standard Full Model has some flaws

I have the Queen Deluxe, so I figured the Full model would work well for a spare bedroom. The frame fits together well, and arrived with only some minor cosmetic damage, nothing major. My complaint is that the side legs and the metal legs do not fully reach the ground (about 0.5 away). So I might have to buy some adjustable legs to add to them. Very disappointing considering how well built everything else is.

Standard bed frame that looks good

This is our second purchase. We have the King + Queen sizes (in the pine and cherry color) and it does the job perfectly. My partner has a minor complaint that the bolts loosen up over time. I personally, dont feel that to be a game changer for the value. The frame is sturdy and easy to assemble (even by yourself). This is a great option for those who want a quality bed frame without breaking the bank or sacrificing style.

    Great value, product as described.

We bought this frame in January and added a PolySleep mattress to it. After 16 years together hubby and I have a mattress we agree on. He is a toss-and-turn sleeper (approx 190lbs). I am a back or side sleeper (175 lbs). I am now able to sleep on my side without the same hip and shoulder/neck pain I have experienced through my adult like. The frame holds us both and with this paired mattress is terrific. I set it up in under 45 minutes our 10yr old son. The bottom of the feet tends to slide on our wood floors. There is also a mid-side post to support weight... in our very small room I have stubbed my foot on this mid-post a bunch of times. If you are putting it in a small space consider your personal klutz-factor.
