4 stars because I just finished assembling/putting together. Ill update later on how its fared. So far, solid wood, easy to follow instructions, came w a few extra screws of different types and a handy little allan-ratchet tool that Ill probably save for other projects. Slats took some technique on getting them down right, mattress fit perfectly. Does not have lips on the side to prevent mattress sliding but it does have these sticky strips on two slats that are supposed to help. No dents or scrapes, delivery guys even dropped package on a corner but the whole thing was double-boxed solidly packed so it didnt even damage anything. So far, love it.
This bed is a timeless style and went together flawlessly! I put it together myself just with the provided Allen wrench in about 1 hour. Ive never had hardware fit the pre-drilled holes so perfectly! Would 100% buy again and recommend to friends and family.
Never know what youre gonna get when youre shopping online however this bedframe is really nice. It was super easy to assemble sturdy looks really nice Im happy with this purchase
