Just fine. My six year old had a big kid version loft bed with desk and it was terribly wobbly and very high up. I had little faith in this loft style bed. Im so happy I gave this bed a chance. If you assemble it correctly it is very sturdy. It is fairly easy to assemble.Its not super high but its well off the ground.the slide works beautifully. Just make sure you have a little clearance when they come down. You must purchase the little theme curtain set for the full effect!we went with the flower shop design and my daughter is under and on this bed constantly.Kmart has them on sale right now. I got the bed for 169 and the curtain set for 29. The bed looks small but remember is a normal twin size.
As expected. This was so nice to put together. Every piece was labeled even the screws. The instructions were clear and understandable. All pieces lined up correctly and was a smooth process. It took a little over an hour for my husband and I to put this together. Feels very sturdy and of good matieral. It came nicely packaged. There were no extra screws or anything so make sure your little one isnt being a big helper and loses any. The slide side rail is like a cheese grater and it did feel a little rough but I kept running my hand over it and it never cut me so I think it will be fine. Overall I would purchase again and I do recommend buying this. My little girl just loves it!
Could be little cheaper. My son loves this bed. It took about an hour to set up with the instructions on my own (Im a very handy mom). My only concern is that the is all very lightweight and is welded together in a shoddy way (which I should expect given the amingly low price of the bed). I wonder how long it will last. Many of the pieces had bent parts which I had to hammer and twist to straighten out. I ended up calling the company and asking them to send a new replacement ladder as the one that was delivered was so bent that the welded edges of the rungs didnt even connect to the base (it would have been a safety hard as the rungs were not secure). They sent me a replacement ladder part very quickly and at no extra cost. I was really happy about that. My son is 6 years old and 47 pounds. He will most likely be able to use this bed for another year or two max. Overall, I would say that its fun (he has no complaints) and a good value for the price.
