I like to put together furniture without looking at the instructions. Its kind of my thing. This was more challenging than most, not in a bad way per se, but there is a detail related to how the metal pieces overlap thats kind of important. especially if you are a really particular (obsessive compulsive) person like I am. I wont explain it well and the company didnt even try in the video (no copy of instructions included). They completely skip it which frustrates me. It still works if you just do it all haphardly, but there is a reason lots of negative reviews mention having to really force it. If done uniformly, theres no need to force anything.
The best I can do to explain is that at higher joint, looking at the leg from the inside (see pic for perspective), the pieces overlap so that the bar coming from the left is on the bottom. Its the opposite on the lower joint. On the bottom row of joints, the bar coming from the left is on top of the bar to the right. If you arent deliberate about this, you would need to force it and bent bars make things less stable.

Also the screw length only worked in the one middle location without the washer. because its thicker there there the bars overlap. That really should have been accounted for in the design. youll be content
Overall were pleased with the table. The seller should not have tried to ship it USPS. We live in a rural area where mail carriers are often private contractors using their own vehicles. With his other mail, this table was just too large to fit I had to go to the post office pick it up myself. Love the feel of the fabric and the color
While I can see how two people are required for assembly I was able to fen/angle it on my own, took about 45 mins of leg aided proping to get the black wiring to line up. The table top is nice and could totally be the split assemble that has it tipping like a teeter totter of two people put their elbows on it( not that I should be table etiquette and all that) over all Im happy to finally after a year of eating on TV trays to have a little table to call my own. Would recommend. Paired with the suggested chairs and its pretty classy if youre going for that minimalist modern vibe. Like it a lot
this table is super cute, you definitely need two people to put it together though, there is absolutely no way one person could assemble this Tetris type piece of furniture. you should also watch the video the instructions provided are not great at all. Otherwise perfect size for two people, not sure how useful it would be for more. It is perfect for my daughters small apartment dinning room, Yeah for having her own space. Comfortable and sturdy
