Futon was easy to assemble. Looks and feels much more expensive than it is! Its firm but comfortable. I like the sturdiness and comfort of this product.
I was wary of the quality of this futon but it is aming! It was nearly fully assembled. You simply need to attach the legs and arms. We decided to attach the legs before the arms instead of the following the directions. It has a nice durable linen fabric but it may not be the most ideal for kids/pets. I wasnt anticipating this futon to really hold 600 lbs but it fits me and my boyfriend just fine. It would be a snug sleep for two adults but I think it could work great for guests doing one night stays. It definitely has higher quality stuffing compared to other cheap couches Ive encountered. Im not worried about this sinking or caving upon first glance. I think its great too if youre someone who moves a lot or planning to move soon. The underside of the futon has a compartment where all the legs and arms slip in and the rest folds right up. I would definitely considered buying more furniture from this manufacturer! Perfect for us
Unless youre in a wheelchair, 70+ years old or have some kind of physical impairment that would make moving furniture an issue, you can skip on having them put it together for you. It took me about 30/45 minutes to put it all together. They also provided extras parts, which was handy.
Its very compact on arrival, so youll need a lot of room to put everything together. The manual thankfully was well laid out and the only problem I had was big hands + small tools. But thats a ME issue, so Im not knocking them for that. Just a comment that you may have similar issues.
I have two areas I have to ding them over.
First off, the way the arm rests are set up . I wouldnt trust any more weight on it than a 15 pound cat. I wont say flimsy, but I just dont trust them. Theyre held attached to the main body by three big long crews, at the bottom. So . be warned.
The other ding isnt as huge of an issue, but worth mentioning. When you unfold it for a bed, note that you have to unzip the back and pull out two retractable plastic leggings. One for each half of the bed. That in and of itself I dont like. The front side has 7 legs(four left, 4 right, 3 center), while the back side only has two legs. The other thing is these two legs have a tendency to slip while you sleep, especially if you toss and turn a lot.
That was a problem!!Sorry for a long review, but these are important things to consider. Overall Im happy with the futon. Its comfy and compact. It was easy to set up with a well explained manual. But the supports for the arm rests and the back half during sleeping are questionable.
I like the overall look, feel comfort of the futon couch. I am confused as to how the back of the couch props ups by itself. Do I have to lean it against the wall? I hope not. The back does adjust to recline lay flat, they just dont stay up by themselves. That part isnt cool. Otherwise one person can put this together. You just have to take your time be careful.
Id like to add a retraction.after playing with it, it does prop itself up at the inclines given. I now give this a 5 stars! Well made. Good price.
Super easy to put together, great buy for the price! Its a lot longer than I thought which I love, three to four people can fit on it and love the style. Package was neatly cared for. Well done, great delivery
