Placed this king bed frame in my upstairs attic that I am remodeling to a master suite. l needed this type of frame to support my memory foam mattress in a box. Very sturdy. Assembly directions were excellent and all parts clearly labeled especially all the screws. I put it together by myself. Just TAKE YOUR TIME and lay the pieces out like a jigsaw puzzle and really focus on the diagrams and you will be very happy withe the outcome. It is not a wham bam put together, but if I could do it by myself, so can the average Joe or Jane . I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
This bed was well packaged and there was no damage in shipping - thank you for that!
The bed was easy to assemble and I like how it came with a set of extra parts because, you know, dogs eat screws and stuff.
Everything is a nice, (powder coated?) metal embellished with a rough texture. The color is great, more dark than bronze and I do have some concerns about how this bed will handle the ocean air. When assembled, its sturdy like rock and has no give or wiggle.
Great value for the ask!
It took me a bit to put this together mostly because by myself balancing piece to get it lined up and then getting screws lined up was hard. I ended up recrewing my 6 year old to find me things to put under pieces to help me out. It did say 2 was needed but widow life here say that isnt an option so I did it alone and I got it done. It took about the ETA the book said not much longer. I would say the longest part was the slats and if you really wanted something more durable then the thin wood a metal Bunkie board bed could also be used as a bottom platform for even more stability.
I did end up getting 4 risers though as t was a bit to low for me to be able to fit my storage bins under the bed as is.
First — not a 30 minute build. Not difficult but not 30 minutes. My frustration came at the final step when I needed to screw in the underside support for the mattress. There were no holes or even marks for direction. I did not have a drill as it was not an item ever mentioned as even being helpful. So I did the screws by hand and they split the wood and didnt lay flat. Im not a carpenter but have done my share of furniture and wood work. This was a flaw in the manufacture. Unfortunate because up to that point I was happy with the purchase.
30 minutes was over 2 hours using tools provided and a screwdriver.
Bed is cute. I hope it is sturdy.
Exactly what she wanted. I was scared of the reviews that said it was difficult to assemble, because I am not good at assembly, but it waa easy enough, and I did it myself.
Holes not properly lined up, some parts not fully finished and had to end up making our own holes to finish screwing the slats in. Pretty disappointed for the money we spent. Only rating 2 stars since it looks decent.

Low scores based on initial frustration
