Numerous cracks in wood after 4 months

My kids love the bed and it looks great. The problem is that after 4 months, I see a lot of cracks in the wood that is quite concerning to me (see pictures). This bed seems to be falling apart. My 5 and 3 year old do not jump on the bed or horse around on it so it isnt due to abuse. I havent gotten a chance to fully inspect the bed since i noticed these last night. This definitely seems to be a safety concern.

    Instructions were easy to follow

Bed is solid. Instructions were easy to follow. Was able to mostly assemble with one person in a couple hours.

Over all we are very pleased.

Bought this bed for my daughters and it has exceeded my expectations ! Not very complicated to assemble . I didnt experience a strong odor as some have stated. A few pieces did have some scratches from shipping but thats to be expected and a wood pen will fix that. Over all we are very pleased.

    Great Product. Solid wood

Great Product. Solid wood. I was actually surprised that it was for the cost. Very sturdy and a nice color. Dont usually write reviews but this deserved it.

Love it except for the smell!

Very pretty. Had it almost a week now and still waiting for the smell to dissipate. Some kind of chemical off gassing. My son is so sensitive to it he cant stop coughing when he sleeps and had ended up in our bed instead. Other reviews mention this smell and some say a few days, some say a long time. Im hoping not too much longer. Not stained wood. Definitely laminate, had to be careful when removing the label stickers after assembly was done because the laminate was peeling off with it. Assembly was easy. Holes were all drilled properly. Planning on adding extra slats or a sheet of plywood for the mattress support but we had figured this from other reviews and its an easy fix. For the price, its an aming deal, feels sturdy and my kids love it. If that smell will just clear out so we can actually sleep on it we will love it.

    Very satisfied!

Well worth it. I was expecting laminate but it was true stained wood. Really sturdy and nice looking. My son loves it. Only thing that would be nice is being able to change the side for the ladder. I would highly recommend this.

Great bed, slats too far apart.

This bed has exceeded our expectations. It wasnt too hard to put together, with my father we managed to do it in a couple of hours. Our biggest complaint about the bed is that the slats are spaced too far apart, and my wife can feel them when she sleeps there with our daughter. We bought a couple sheets of plywood and its fine. It is solidly built and the color is great. There is a bit of offgassing of something, a smell that we had to open the window for a few days to clear out.

Love it, Love it, Love it. Great bed.

We bought this bed for our girls, ages 8 4, and we were concerned about the quality of bunk beds within the lower price ranges(300/500). We felt that we took a chance by purchasing online, and we are overwhelmingly pleased. The bed was easy to assemble (and I was the one assembling), and packed well with well/labeled parts. The quality of the wood was very good and all of the holes were pre/drilled perfectly. We have been using the bed for over a month now and we couldnt be happier. The girls love it and it looks great. I highly recommend this bed.
