I love everything about it and it make my kids room looks bigger cause it makes more space in the room even though i have 3 bed in the room. I love it!!
We had been looking at this for our three boys for a while. When we saw it on sale, it was a no brained. The bed showed on time. It came in two boxes. The instructions were easy to follow. It took me about two hours if that to out the entire bed together.
The bed is sturdy and does not move at all.
I would recommend using a power drill with Allen bits instead of the Allen wrench they provide. It will save your hands a world of hurt. Would definitely buy again!
Wish I wouldve know. Ahead of time to buy a spring mattress. Saw where others said that they bought a foam one so I followed suit. The warning labels say to use a spring mattress to avoid injury. Were going to have to modify as others have suggested by putting plywood down, but its a pain since were an hour from a hardware store. Otherwise it seems sturdy and was easy enough to put together. Hoping it will be a good height for our 3 4 yr olds. Will update after weve had it for a while.
Update: this is still holding up well after 2 years. You do need to tighten the bolts periodically and it does wiggle a bit more than when we first assembled it. Will be adding the 3rd bunk this year to accommodate our 3 yo very reasonably priced as well.
Overall love the beds! Feels very sturdy and the kids love them! Two complaints I had: we were shorted some hardware so I had to run up to Ace and grab a few screws and you really need to purchase a thin mattress for the bottom bunk. We purchased a normal twin mattress and doesnt allow a lot of room so I am not sure how long we will be able to use them as bunk beds. May have to separate them sooner rather than later since we have tall kids! Cute and comfortable
I like the sturdiness and the build quality, it is solid and made of wood not cheap particle board. The only thing I had an issue with was the slots that hold the bed up, the holes for the screws were too small for most drill bits, I eventually gave up and payed them down and screwed it in through the side, not a big deal for little kids. The bed itself is super nice, we love it! Love, love, love it!
Only reason I am giving this only 4 stars is due to the very small headspace the lower bunk has. I purchased this for my 3 and 5 year old children and was drawn to this one due to the lower height of the top bunk. While I do realize having more space on the lower bunk would raise the overall height, it still would have been nice to have a couple inches more.
It went together very easy, the pieces are solid wood, very nice color! Great for toddlers / young kids. I was very excited to receive!
These beds are awesome! It made my little ones happy and has made me pretty happy also. Its the perfect height for our low ceilings! I wanted something manageable, but not too high for my daughter on the top bunk, and it is just what was expected from the pictures and description! Though I must say that the railing for the top bunk is a bit short, Im afraid she might roll off. Her mattress is a lot thicker than my sons who is on the bottom, so I guess it cant be helped! Ill just have to try and add extra cushion and support for her so she doesnt fall! Other than that, I really do love these bed, and it made me want to be a kid all over again! Lol Would definitely recommend for families who have limited and small spaces! Very stylish and great quality!
Im 58. I bought this for grandkids. I put it together myself in about 3 hours. I took my time. The instructions were easy to follow.
