My husband and I got the blue futon for his office / extra guest bed. We ended up using it as a main couch for our apartment and it is the most uncomfortable piece of furniture to sit on. I have no idea how anyone can sleep on it as is. I bought a foam bed topper and a bunch of pillows to help make it tolerable.
It was easy to assemble, however, there is one small support in the middle.
I live in a smaller apartment so having a minimaliatic futon is ideal for space utilization. I previously has a smaller futon and after spending a year with it, I knew an upgrade was needed. It really provided limited comfort and limited space.
I decided to upgrade to this one and here are thoughts:
Comfort: Now everyone has their own opinion but firm is very comfy for me. The material is very nice, clean and modern and the padding is supportive and firm.
Assembling: It arrived in two large, heavy boxes. The arms of the futon are in a zippered compartment on the base of the futon and building it was fairly simple with two of us. This is a study sofa and pretty heavy so teamwork is good.
I ultimately love the size and style of this and could see myself or company comfortably sleeping on this. I love it so far! Works great!!

I just got this today. Im a 65 year old woman and had no problems assembling it on my own. It looks good, firm but comfortable. Wouldnt sleep a six footer in comfort, but Im using it more as a couch anyway. Delivery was a lot faster than expected. this is good!
Not at all user friendly. Small and uncomfortable. I do not know where these 5 star reviews are coming from. Even the cushions are insanely small. Im 59 and I barely fit on this couch. I hate it.

1 week later, I still miss some parts of the sofa, only the two sofa pads here, all the legs and side sofas are missing. And then the seller wrote to me to explain that these missing parts are under the zip pocket of the sofa. After finding them and assembling them, its easy and good to use now. very stable.
