I got this bed because the local furniture stores don’t have anything available until spring maybe. First, my daughter is maybe 90 pounds soaking wet so we weren’t super worried about it holding her weight. This bed seems like it could probably hold her and a few of her friends no problem. I’m actually pretty satisfied with how sturdy it is and how it looks. There’s some cosmetic flaws, but for the price, I can’t complain. What I can complain about is how impossible it was to put together and how useless the instructions were. I cannot emphasize that enough. You better either have a really great marriage or hire a couple people to put it together and save yourself the bickering and blisters. It took two people, both fairly mechanically inclined and one holds a doctorate, six hours to put this together. I’ve done my share of furniture assembly and this was by far the worst. In some pieces there weren’t even guide holes for the screws so you literally just had to muscle a screw into the wood. The instructions showed holes in pieces where there wasn’t holes or vice versa. So trying to figure out which of the four posts was supposed to be facing which way was essentially trial and error. And if you chose wrong, it put you back to the beginning. It was completely frustrating. Fortunately this looks like it’ll last for a good while so we don’t have to go through assembly again
I got this bed to say room in my small room. I have tried everything to get as much space as possible, and as soon as I saw this bed, I knew it was the right one. The box was pretty damaged when it arrived, but all the parts were packaged well. The instructions were very clear and all parts were numbered. I do suggest this bed if you are looking for a desk along with a bed to save space!
I got this for Christmas and I love it! It makes it so I have so much more room in my room. It isn't very stable and it kinda wobbles but not so much that you'd have to be worried it would fall over. You can also connect it to the wall if you feel the need. It was not that easy to assemble though, kinda confusing
I have put a lot of furniture together in my years..... this was tough. I did it by myself and it took 6 hours. The WORST was the slats at either end of the bed. I almost returned the bed because of that. They would not stay in place. That alone added 2 hours to my time. There are not enough slats for the mattress either. I may add more myself. It says holds up to 400 lbs, but I seriously question that.
I have to go to Ace hardware today because like another person reviewed the bolts provided for a portion of the shelves do not fit. Like WTH.. it’s made putting this bed together a lot harder than it should’ve been. Also the bolts could’ve and should’ve been labeled.
I know the mattress is too big!! Lol
So I had a bit of confusion at the end.. one of the shelves doesn’t have holes to mount to the frame.. so I’m lost. Don’t want to screw them in and ruin the shelf… not sure what to do. But it’s easy to assemble. I had trouble because the instructions aren’t as detailed as I’d like. Just letters and numbers. If you get this bed pay attention and have patience.
I like having the bottom open it’s perfect for my sons room it’s smaller and allows for us to bring in another twin size mattress for guests and when not needed it’s used for his toys and a bigger area to play in
I like that this loft bed is made from all wood. I bought this bed for my granddaughter so i could fit her barbie dream house under it so she could have more romy bedroom.

I recommend, especially for small rooms
