For what I paid for this I wish they were less wobbly. We bought two of them. They have a pretty high weight limit compared to other loft beds (500 pounds I think?) and as we are trying to fit 3 kids in 2 bedrooms I was hoping these would hold out until they were teenagers. I bought the optional desks. The desks definitely makes the beds sturdier but they still wobbles if I try to go up there to change their bedding. Also, one of the ladder rungs cracked when I stepped on it and now it moves if I step on it. For reference I'm about 165 pounds... I avoid stepping on it now. It's fine for my 40 pound daughter... for now. The side rail is also floppy and moves back and forth. I also wish the ladder didn't stick out so far and was flush with the bed to reduce the foot print. If you have hardwood , make sure you put those furniture pads on the ladder legs, because the ladder will lift up and down and without a protective buffer will wear into your floors like it did for us. Overall, I wish I had gotten bunks. The kids do really like their lofts, but when they're 15/16 years old I am worried I'll have to replace them. Between the mattresses, beds and desks, I think I paid like $1500 for this setup, and it's not the highest quality.
From how the picture looks the size of the desk looks a lot bigger in person and so does the bed. The bed moves a lot not very sturdy. I have been using it for 3 months now. They sent me a black desk first but returned it and got the white desk. Not great but it will do. I recommend for children not really teenagers or young adult
Fully assembled, this bed is still a bit wobbly. Not enough to make me question it’s safety, just enough to wish it was slightly more solid. My son also hates that it’s really squeaky, and the bars of the ladder hurt his feet. It’s got nice space underneath for his school supplies, though, and has been a lifesaver for virtual learning this year.
Good bed for the money. A few defects in the wood (gouges, indentations) which is disappointing but not enough to make me return it. Took about 4-5 hours to assemble. The desk is large which is great for my dtrs arts and crafts. The bed is a little wobbly but not concerning. Overall nice bed.
Good for your money and looks nice in white. The only bad thing is the screws are thrown in and you have to guess which screw goes where. Horrible system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
