This bunk bed is very sturdy. I bought this a few months ago for my teen and preteen grandson’s. Was a little difficult assembling but I would buy it again because it’s structured well.
This bunkbed that I have been researching for a couple of months before purchase had to
satisfy Five major requirements (1) Cost, (2) Durability, (3) ease of installation,
(4) be light and less "bulk" and (5) ease of portability (taking it apart and rebuilding).
This is for my daughter's bedroom and with the small size of the space (approx. 12' x 11')
I did not want a monstrosity of a bunkbed unit that appears to occupy the entire room.
This product is light in appearance and makes a cramped space look spacious.
(1) COST, this product is a great bargain compared with the 'faux' wood composite products
trying to imitate solid constructed wood furniture. I paid $248 for this piece and would
have paid more since other wood bunkbeds ranged from $450 to over $1,000.
(2) DURABILITY, this bed can sustain 250 to 300 pounds and with steel construction I do not
have to worry about the screws stripping and warping the wood weakening the strucutral
integrity of the bed whenthe kids are playing by climbing, swinging and rocking from it.
(3) EASE OF INSTALLATION, the instructions was clear and the only minor 'hiccup' was the
80+ stiles secure attachment clips that was not expressed in the instructions. I put the
entire bed together alone in 4 hours and the stile attachment clips were easily attached
after the fact. Another installation tip, make sure the holes are line up to receive items
correctly or you will be unscrewing items often in your haste to complete the bed.
(4) LIGHTNESS/WEIGHTLESSNESS, the bed is ideal for smaller roomS because if allows air, wind
and sunlight to infiltrate the room making an compact room spacious.
(5) EASE OF PORTABILITY, I am confident due to the steel construction that I can take it
apart if I had to move it into another room or another home withOUT compromising the structure
of the bunkbed.
Final tip is be aware of having ceiling fans in the room with kids on the top bunk, especially
with low ceilings (9'-10'). This is a great product and we will be making another purchase
next year for our boy's room. This is a can't miss!
Hope this helps
This came as a huge long heavy package, but it was pretty easy to unpack and inventory all the pieces (and I'm 4 months pregnant). Instructions very pretty clear and easy to follow, but it does take two people when putting the ends upright together. It was much easier to put the mattress on top before we installed the front side bars, as its a heavy full-size pillow top. When the bed was all put together and I climbed up to the top, it does shake slightly and a couple squeaks but otherwise felt very sturdy. This loft bed was built for my small 10yld, so I'm not concerned about the weight limit of 300lbs. I will say the metal ladder rungs hurt my feet pretty bad, and eventually my 10yld said the same thing. Easy fix for that, with putting cut to size pool noodles covered with duct tape on each rung. Now they feel good when climbing to the top.
This came very quickly! Packaged great and was in excellent shape when we opened it. Easy to assemble and comes with everything you need (including extra hardware just in case). Only thing to be aware of is it scratches quite easily so be careful when putting it together.
This frame is great so far. It wasn't too bad to put together either, it took me about an hour. My daughter using this bed has mentioned that the latter steps are not comfortable to climb up with bare feet. We have had it about a month and other than that, it is sturdy and we have been very happy with the purchase.
This is a fairly good looking Futon bunk bed. I chose this model because it uses square tubing for the frame instead of round. The top bunk is about 12 inches deep so could be used to store miscellaneous items with or without a mattress. This is what I use it for to store lots of boxes since there is not much room underneath the bottom bunk. Assembly is pretty straightforward but there are some errors in the assembly instructions. For example at the end of the manual it says you could lock the bottom in the bed position with the optional hook but in reality the hooks provided are not long enough. The quality of this frame is fair and I didn't have any missing parts or hardware. The hex wrench and hex screws are ok but you have to be careful not to strip the hex holes. Also don't over tighten the bolts because you risk rounding out said hex holes. This is important should you ever need to disassemble the bed in the future. The threaded holes in the frame pieces are fairly strong and do not strip easily since they are reinforced. Switching from couch to bed is not too difficult since the springs are low tension but you may have to put in more effort if using a thick Futon mattress since they are more difficult to fold. Overall I'm quite happy with this bunk bed. The full size bottom Futon is very convenient and sometimes I just leave it in the couch position and sleep. I chose the?
This is a god bed for a college student who’s sharing a room and needs maximum space. It does make noise when you toss and turn which was annoying at first but then you get over it. The stepping stools are not as painful as the reviews make it seem. Overall, I think it’s the perfect bed for someone on a budget.

I GOT TWO!
This helped my boys have so much more room! They are already saying what they would like to fill it with!
Looks nice and offers flexibility as well as convenience
