So he got bunkie boards. At first they were fine, but then something started squea every time you moved or rolled over it would wake you up. So, he finally caved and bought a new mattress. Same issue with new mattress it goes on for another 6 months after we got the new mattress and finally Ive had it. I love our bedroom set even though its oldits solid though, so I was hoping to add a cross beam in the center and add slats to get rid of the bunkie boards. I describe to him what I want to do, and he says well lets go look at new bedroom sets. ️
Okay fine we have a Cal , trying to find something in Texas to accommodate our bed size is almost impossible. So we go to several stores and look around nothing is really catching our eye, not to mention the quality of how furniture is put together these days
We get back home lay on the bed to hear the dreaded squeak and then I get on to see what slats I can find and stumble across this aming product!!!

Husband put it together himself while I was at work when I came home, first words out of his mouth were, I feel so stupid
Why? Because that was such an easy fix, and it never crossed his mind that it was the bunkie boardswhich were also bought on ! Dont recommend those
Anyway, best purchase ever! And now we can both get a restful night of sleep well except for the dogs getting on the bed at 3:30am

The VERY light and flimsy slats cause crea when moving during the night. The noise isnt excessive and its a solid product otherwise. I have it attached to a monstrous headboard and its rock solid due to the weight. I will probably replace the slats with sturdier ones. perfect.
One of my sides was the 16in version while the other 3 were the correct 14in version. Im sure they would have replaced it if I had emailed but it was quicker to have Dad (TM) fix it. He removed the inner rubber stopper and cut off 2 inches and then replaced the rubber stopper = problem solved. I removed 1 star for an incorrect part in box (out of about 30 different lifetime furniture projects, this is the first time Ive ever experienced this issue with anyone, perhaps Im just lucky?).
It was funny because I couldnt figure out for the life of me why the platform feet werent sitting stable until I took out a tape measure and just measured everything out of pure frustration. Eyeballing it just wasnt good enough.
Also this is very minor but the instructions references using 4x small nut that are not included in the parts. This is just a small error and the addition of a nut in that specific area isnt needed structurally. I need.
I think that the bed will be fine once I get a bolt to replace the one that was left out of the package. It certainly has enough room underneath for storing things. It creaks and wobbles a bit, but I put that down to the missing bolt. Thats why i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. If the company monitors these things, perhaps they will reach out to me to rectify this omission. If so, Ill amend my review. If not, you might want to look up the address for the nearest hardware store. Awesome product.
Great Frame but watch out for those corners. I have more than once scratched my leg stumbling out of bed in the morning. I would recommend some foam to place on the corners since the mattress will not cover the corners unless you have a headboard. Easy build,

cute but hard to assemble and not sturdy
I dont know if it would hold 2 people. The planks are too short, cheap product, but cute. Not easy to put together.
Not bad
It was missing two nuts, this may be super inconvenient if somome was rural or housebound. As advertised.
