Great Sturdy Bed (but ladder rungs are painful)

As described and easy to set up. Mostly love this sturdy bed and glad I had the service for someone else to put it together; it took him 75 minutes! Bed is solid; doesnt move or squeak. Love the twin/full option. Biggest complaint are the rungs on the ladder which are incredibly painful for feet. After google search for solutions, I used pipe insulation (or can use pool noodles. But for the cost and number of complaints, the manufacturer should redesign these.

Nice bed, but an odd color

I like it. First let me just say that the bed itself is awesome! the mixed size top and bottom bunk has been a welcome addition for my daughter and her friends. The color however looks like a muddy mess that looks nothing like a pink as suggested by Maxwell. They do offer other colors for this bed and I would recommend that buyers look into those. If the color was better I would give the bed five stars.

    Good Value

Easy to assemble, but it does take some time, 90 minutes for me and I used to assemble furniture for a living. Result is sturdy, but slightly squeaky when kids goof around like monkeys. Good quality for the money.

    Good buy/Sturdy bed

Assembly is very easy. This bed is well made and relatively easy to put together. It is an attractive color and finish. My teenage boys, who are both over 6 ft tall, fit well and comfortably on this.

    Good bed

easy to setup and seems good quality. only thing i dont really like about it is all the square edges, the kids can hurt themselves when bumping into it.

    My son loves it

Well worth the purchase. Very nice bed. My son absolutely loves it because it. So, I assembled it late st night after getting home from work around 1am. It took me about 3 hours to assemble it. The box is really heavy, so get a second person to lift it, if possible. My box did not have instructions, but I found them online. Fairly simple to assemble, but a lot of parts. I feel like there are some design flaws like the round steps and round slats which would both be better off being flat. And all the plastic pieces that need to go on towards the end are a bit of a headache, but I guess they keep the slats more stable and prevent squeaking and moving. It was a good price and it feels fairly sturdy. Overall, a very good bed for kids,

Really good bed with a few cons

2 hours removed from putting this together, and I think I can feel my fingers again! Heres my take: Pros: / Almost all instructions were clear (see cons for some exceptions / All the parts were there! / This bests the last bunk bed I put together last year for assembly of the cross barsthe slide/push/down/clip process is better than the last slide/lock system I used (Zinus Easy Assembly Quick Lock Twin over Twin Metal Bunk Bed). Cons: / As you can see in the picture, one slight misstep in assembling the bars resulted in just slightly too much pressure on one side, ripping out a connectorI was able to use some miscellaneous hardware to make it work, but thankfully it was only on the bottomthis means you MUST use 2 people and you MUST be extra careful until at least 2 cross beams are installed / Theres a note in the beginning NOT to tighten unless the step tells you toand then no step tells you to! I figured out the best time to do it (basically, before you put in all the cross bars for the long connections, then after the crossbars for the short connections / There is one illustration in particular that makes it look like 1 bar is J, when it is H (I think I got that rightthrew out the instructions). A little better drawing could have saved me 15/20 minutes of re/do. Overall, quality is really good (except if you strip a connection!). Total assembly is probably 2/3 hours if you dont have to re/do anything and you have an apprentice to help you. The final look is niceseems sturdy, and only the typical shaking of non/solid/wood bunkbeds. The gray finish I got is industrial but in a good way. Good luck!

My kids are thrilled with the bunk beds

My son has been wanting bunk beds in his room for forever and I just could not bring myself to spend what the furniture store wanted for a set of bunk beds. This bunk bed set is reasonable priced and fit what we wanted (twin over full and high weight limit). It took a few hours to put the bunk beds together with mostly one person and a few minutes of help here and there from a second person. It went together well, all the pieces were present and fit together without any issues. The bed is fairly sturdy and my kids are thrilled with it. It has a bit of a modern industrial look to it but for the price I feel its a good value.
