I ordered two of these umbrellas. They are very attractive and appear well made. We get daily afternoon breezes and these do very well, using heavy stands. People who complain about them blowing over and breaking are obviously not using the correct type of stand.
The umbrella is very nice for the price. I didnt give it 5 stars because it hasnt been through a Colorado summer where the bright sun tends to be intense and often items fade from being exposed during the 3 months of summer sunlight.
I previously had an umbrella from PBarn, which was heavy and good, but had to return. This is a much lighter fabric, which turned out to be great for my patio where it stands. So far it has done what I needed, shaded the back door from the hot sun and the mechanics have worked without a glitch. The reason for four stars: 1) the fabric is much lighter, and tho I like that for my small patio, I dont know how long it will last; 2) I had a PBarn base and this pole is smaller in diameter. I had to wedge wood in the base to keep it semi-steady.
Pros: this cost was about 1/4 of the previous umbrella!
Ive had this umbrella for several weeks and it has held up great so far. Even in the wind it stays pretty still. Through several thunderstorms it still looks brand new. I like the tilting option as well, especially if the sun is at a low angle. I use the Market Umbrella Base with this umbrella and it works great.
I like this umbrella. The color is neutral and goes with everything. But the material is thin and super lightweight. Hope it lasts at least a couple seasons. As far as wind. I put them down when its windy.
very nice quality for being under 80 dollars. the crank is made out of a plastic (ideally would be metal) but im very happy after three weeks of regular use.
This is a very nice umbrella for the price. It seems to be well made and is attractive. We just bought it, so I dont know how many summer seasons it will go thru but If it last for a couple of Texas summers, Ill be happy!
The local Home Depot and Lowes had umbrellas like this but for over $100. I ordered this one because of the color and the fact it cranks up and down instead of being pushed. The crank turns super easy and umbrella opens and closes with ease. It also tilts to provide better shade depending on the location of the afternoon sun. One thing to note is that when tilted, it is more susceptible to the wind and may rotate on you if you dont have a stand.
The umbrella looks great, is the perfect size for us and we feel it is a good value. My only concern is the string that the crank uses, I hope it holds up for many years. I can definitely recommend this product so if you need a patio umbrella, get this one. The only negative is the pole size as a 2 inch would have been better. Maybe there is one and I overlooked it but that would be my fault, not the umbrellas.

Good price
Umbrella is well made and especially like the flaps at the top so the wind goes through. Crank works very easily.
Very good for the money.

Wish it had a 2 inch pole but still great...

Good quality for the money
I liked this so much I bought a second one. Good, sturdy build and the beige is a good all-around color that doesnt fade as much as darker colors.
