Keep the bolts loosen during assembly

I loved the chair online but was nervous based on the other reviews and as I started to build I understood why everyone was complaining holes werent lining up and I was getting very frustrated. I eventually went back and read the reviews looking for insight. In step 1 you attach the seat with the back and you HAVE to keep those bolts loose. If you dont then youll start screaming and shouting when you cant get the arms on. Once the chair is assembled youll say, wow this looks great and then youll sit in it and be like, well its worth the inexpensive price for the look so yes, I would buy the chair again and in fact plan to

    Adorable, but not comfortable.

We are more than satisfied. Love it Fairly easy to put together. Looks perfect in the space, but not an everyday sitting chair. The armrest doesnt come high enough to support your arms.

Nearly Perfect - But Came Up Short

Great product at great price Love the look of this chair, it is exactly as pictured. I had a vision for our room and this chair fit the bill. I read all the reviews that it was too small and disregarded since I was putting this in the corner of a bedroom. I though it would have enough distance from other items to not feel so small. Sadly I was wrong. It does look pretty teeny in the room. Ill be keeping it for now, but will probably need to replace down the line when I find a replica from somewhere else where it isnt too small.

    Worth the price!

Comfortable, and looks nice too. I was not expecting this to turn out as well as it did! It was reasonably easy to assemble ONLY IF you dont screw all the screws all the way tight so you can align the holes with the screws. Otherwise, you could potentially assemble with one person but definitely two. It looks so modern and chic. It didnt come with any blemishes and turned out reasonably ok in comfort for an accent chair.

Sides were mixed up Left w Right

worth every penny Sides were mixed up Left and right labeling was mixed up and as a result after it was fully assembled then unassembled there are scratch marks on the outside now. Material is rather soft so it is easily scratches. Other then that item is as described and fully functional.

    Beautiful accent chair!

great for the low price Very study chair! Is great for an accent chair. It is pretty comfy, though I do not sit in it for long periods of time. I would definitely recommend as an accent chair!! Assembly was fairly easy, though took me about 20-30mins. The knobs to cover the screws kept popping out after I first assembled it, though I should attribute that to my not being able to push them in enough (my boyfriend popped them in and they havent budged since).

    cognac wooden arm chair

Easy to assemble, light smell Its perfect for all practical purposes. The seat is reinforced with springs and the parts are good quality. If its for continual usage, maybe you should try a metal framed char, however. I would highly recommend this particular model based on quality and engineering.

Perfect for the mid-century modern snob on a budget

Thrilled with this purchase. If youre on the fence, check out the Barlow chair reviews on Wayfair (same exact product). This is an incredible value and a very attractive, perfectly sized piece for any mid-century modern aficionado. The faux leather looks much nicer in person than pictures, and the tone is a lot warmer than I expected, in a good way. The seat is firm but well proportioned for extended sitting. I doubt anyone ordering a chair like this is looking for something to fall asleep in, but take it from a furniture snob: this thing really does rival the West Elm stuff thatll cost you 7x as much. Im noticing a lot of these reviews seem to call out poor craftsmanship, but the key is that you must install all screws loosely first, and then once everything is in place, tighten everything else. Furniture like this is designed so that pressure is distributed equally - so if you try tightening the first three screws all the way before adding anything else, youre doomed to have a heck of a time getting the holes to line up. If you ordered two, the first one will take you 30 minutes to assemble, and the second will take you 10. PROS: cheap, beautiful color, convincing fabric, excellent craftsmanship for the price CONS: none you dummy! just get it. you deserve nice things once in a while
