Some of the holes to attach the frame to headboard, were drilled off so instead of having 4 screws attached to each I only have 2. It was way off. But I assembled this completely by myself until it came time to attach the assembled pieces and then I recruited my husband. Far easier than anything Ive ever put together from IKEA! It seems sturdy, it looks beautiful, came with all the tools needed. All zipped inside the back of the headboard. Super clever ;) And instructions were simple. First night sleeping on it so if I dont write back tomorrow that means it didnt fall apart! I will say the slats were also off and I might have issues keeping them in place. But for the money and hassle free assembly, this is great! (Please dont mind the poor staging of my bedroom and the pics! We just moved in and I have a lot of decorating to do!) Functional design
This bedframe is fine, the construction is fast and easy. I really like the headboard and overall height of it. My only complaint is the velcro slates which seem to move around a bit too easy and are a bit far apart. They are stated to be 2.8 inches apart and are actually 3.2. Good and inexpensive
Really happy with this bed so far. It came really compact, everything stores in the headboard. Easy to put together, though a bit more complicated than expected. Its super sturdy and strong, has a lot of wooden slats that cover a good portion of the bed. And the best tool ever sent with a piece: the Allen ratchet. What a lifesaver; Ive never been sent one, only the Allen key and it was so helpful. Thanks for that little extra. Color and fabric were as expected. Fit my linenspa 12 full mattress with ease. I like this one.
I bought this for my sons room and I think the frame is little too high. In the picture it did not look too high so I was confused maybe with the mattress that I have which is little thicker than others, it seems to be high for 10 years old. Still, the price was good. delivery was on time, and assembly was not that hard but not that easy either. headboard it sturdy and good. He loves. it. Just as pictured very happy with my purchase.
The frame arrived in very good condition. The color was true to the photos. They included tools, including a ratcheting hex key. The assembly instructions were clear. Assembly was easy. My ten year old nephew and I put it together in less than an hour. Especially like that the wood slats have some give. With the mattress on, its very comfortable. There were two quibbles that make it four stars instead of five. The feet on the front are plastic and not wood. It reduces the perceived value. The metal that attaches the headboard to the frame doesnt look robust. It seems to be fine, but over time I wonder how much I can really sit up in bed against the headboard. We will see. Decent for the price
Great bed and very sturdy but color and material kind of looks like denim. Didnt want to have to return because it is so big and heavy. just wish material was different. The way they packaged was super efficient. Talk about Jenga in a headboard! Very smart.
Update after use for a month:
Bed is super sturdy. Again, not happy about denim looking material but the quality is great. Putting together was easy as well. Ive got zero gripes about anything but the color/material. Comfortable and high quality!
The bed arrived promptly. I purchased the headboard/platform bed to replace my box springs and metal frame for my TempurPedic memory foam mattress. After breaking down my existing setup, I carried the very heavy TempurPedic box springs down the stairs to my garage. I was planning on getting rid of them after I had the new headboard/platform set up. I assembled it by myself in about 40 minutes and it went together without an issue. I put my mattress on the platform and laid down to relax after carrying everything and assembling this. I immediately noticed a huge difference in the comfort of my mattress between my old set up and the new platform bed. It was clear that the wooden slats on the platform were not nearly enough support for the mattress. I have read other reviews that complain of this issue where people have added plywood to stiffen up the platform and they are 100 correct. When my wife got on the bed, we noticed that we could feel much more movement when the other person got in/out of bed. The wooden slats offer about half of the platform coverage compared to having the regular box springs and since the slats span the entire width of the platform frame, they dip on one side when a person is lying down and when the other person gets in the bed they bow in the opposite direction and you can feel every movement the other person makes. With the old set up, we couldnt feel when the other person got in and out of bed because the box sprints and metal frame offered so much more support for the mattress. We used the bed for about 2 weeks until we decided it made our mattress so much more uncomfortable we couldnt take it any more. That being said, instead of trying to buy plywood to modify the platform, I decided to disassemble the platform portion from the headboard and throw it out. I brought back my metal frame and box springs from the garage (really glad I didnt dispose of them right after setting up the new platform) and made a bracket to connect the metal frame to the new headboard. So just know, the platform on the king size is completely inadequate as far as support.
Moving on to the fabric headboard, it is nice and just what we expected. Since we only spent 136 on the entire setup, I wasnt that disappointed that the platform had to be thrown out. Overall, you cant get much of a headboard for that price so we are just using the headboard now.
I hope this review is helpful when making your decision. For the price I expect better directions and quality

Good value but odd slates.
