This stool was exactly what we were looking for, and we ordered 3. There was a slight issue assembling 2 of the stools. My husband had to tap a couple of the holes (under the seats) in order for the screw to go in and catch. All the other holes and 3rd stool were fine. Its a simple fix if you have the right tool. They are sturdy and comfortable and we are happy with the stools.
The assembly for this product is extensive and not easy if youre 80 years old and have arthritic fingers, but perseverance won out and it is assembled and works as advertised. Now for the second one.
I assembled this on my own. My recommendation -- 1. find a friend who is patient and strong. 2. Send the dogs and kids to grandmas or a loving, caring neighbor. Also, a battery operated screw driver with hex bit would be a life saver...note to self...get one!
So, two screws wont go in but the stool is assembled. The legs are not even so there is a slight rocking. Its not too comfy, but it will not be sat on for long periods of time. I bought it for my classroom as my computer is on a chart and the height was perfect. I am on a very, very strict budget, so I was willing to put the time in putting it together. I got a super good price on it as it was a warehouse item...there are some scratches but it doesnt bother me. I dont understand the pictures Ive seen posted by others, as when assembled the pieces arent exactly fitted. But I can live with it...I think.

All 6 boxes came damaged. One of the chairs was missing 10 of the necessary screws. It was extremely difficult to put together the seat rest. The holes would not align.
They are fairly easy to put together, this is my second time ordering, they will last about 1yr or so due to the wear and tear on the seat covers. The only complaint I have is that the screws come loose and youll have to keep tightening them

Dont buy they will come a lose
The Screws wont stay Assembled to the chair. The chair is very poorly made dont waste your time are money
