The girls wanted to maximize their space at home when not at college. I didnt set up trundle since we wanted to use the space under the bed for storage. My girls weight 125lbs each and havent had any issues. Nice well made.
I love this bunk bed, but I ordered white and it is OFF/white or cream.
It clashes with our white trim in the room. It is too late to return, since we spent the hours assembling it.
Also, the ladder (and no way to get out of the top bunk), is a bummer. The design needed to leave a cutout in the lattice, in order for the child to enter/exit the top bunk, from/to the rungs below. There are better designs here on . I would recommend searching for an angled ladder and an entry cut/out. Good find!!
I have never been a fan of metal bunkbeds. To me theyve always looked cheap and flimsy but this one had good reviews so we decided to try it. I am really surprised at the quality and the sturdiness. It looks so much nicer in person and higher quality than I ever thought it would. There were no missing or damaged pieces, it came with extra parts, and overall it was very easy to put together. I would absolutely recommend this bunk bed!! Quality products.
It looks good, compact design with right amount of headroom. However, it makes a lot of noise when you turn. Even though the bed is doing good 2 months into the purchase, it doesnt feel sturdy. Great storage option.
Purchased for my 2 year old as a bed he can grow into. During transition from crib I slept on the trundle, two weeks in and hes sleeping by himself. ( with guard rails of course) the ladder is up against the wall until hes older. Right now its storage for all his stuffed animals. Absolutely love this big boy bed for him! Really Worth it
