Assembly was a bit more than the usual, but it wasnt terribly difficult. The instructions were clear and all the parts are packaged in a labeled plastic thing which made it easy to figure out which parts to use. The picture doesnt do it justice. Its a lovely plush gray velvet. Ive only slept in it once so I cant really speak to sturdiness yet but it doesnt move or creak at all when I get in the bed, and seems stable. Overall very happy with it.
It is a good buy for your money. The headboard is well sewn and looks elegant. I would have liked the lining to be of better quality. It was easy to put together between my husband and I, it took about an hour. supports. We did not use the drill to screw the screws, we decided to leave them that way, it does not have any kind of squeak. In general, I am very happy with my purchase.
